Hello, I recently started reading your board and I thought I would share this with you. I noticed that a friend of mine had posted a lot here over the last two years, his username was "DENFROMPHILLY". Sadly Denis passed away in December from cancer, I thought you folks would want to know. I had known Denis for over 20 years and was his roommate for awhile once many years ago. Denis was a real character and definitely left us with a lot of stories to laugh at. He is survived by three brothers and sister. Since his only brother that is interested MCs already has three I bought his X1 from his estate, hence how I ended up here, being my first Buell, though about my 20th motorcycle. So have a one for Denis he was a real biker and really loved his Buell. |

Our condolences to his family. Thank you for sharing this information with us. Glad his X1 is in good hands. You'll find a great group of people here on this board. Kristi |

Really sorry to hear that. Denis was a great and positive contributor on Badweb. May he now always find blue skies and twisty roads. Henrik |

That is a sad thing to hear. My best to his friends and family. I got to know Den a little when he was working on his clutch last year and we exchanged a few emails. The clutch on the X1 should be good for a while, Den replaced the spring plate with some extra plates I sent him. I could tell, he was a guy that loved working on his bike and liked to do things right. Happy trails Den... Thanks for the report Bill and welcome to the BadWeb. Jack |
