Well, I swapped out that stupid bar-&-shield key fob my dealer gave me when I bought my XB12Ss for a proper blue Buell key fob courtesy of Daves. Just came back from my test ride.

Dang! The bike accelerates harder, wheelies easier and stoppies more controllably now! I'm guessing the airflow over that smooth oval key fob makes all the difference over that awkwardly shaped bar-&-shield fob.

Who needs an aftermarket exhaust?? THANKS, DAVES! You're number one!!

I thought the same thing after riding my bike to and from work with my new key fob today.

I put the one Dave gave me on the key to my `82 Kawasaki 440 LTD. It starts better, runs smoother, gets better fuel mileage and now makes a very faint "potato, potato, potato" exhaust note. YMMV.
