Southeast Utah, Southwest Colorado, Northern New Mexico. Lot's of pretty scenery and varied type of terrain. Look around these roads: http://local.google.com/maps?saddr=Moab,+UT+84532& daddr=Santa+Fe,+NM&f=d&hl=en&ie=UTF8&sll=38.587088 ,-109.549141&sspn=0.228108,0.466919&z=7&om=1 http://local.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=santa +fe,+nm&daddr=creede,+co&sll=36.76788,-106.400165& sspn=3.739952,7.470703&ie=UTF8&z=7&om=1 |

Northern Wisconsin is nothing short of amazing. Cooler temps, gorgeous scenery, great roads to ride on. |

I usually visit Monterey once a year, I just can't get enough of the aquarium. As for seeing Motogp, I couldn't care less... I know for a lot of you that is blasphemy. Even though I went to Glacier last year, I might do a quick trip back out there with the bike. They (park service) have been talking about shutting down the "going to the sun road" to all vehicles, except the tour buses. They already did this at the grand canyon (went there last year too). The reasoning is traffic volume, and accidents. From Seattle I can do glacier and back in 3 days. Anyone interested? Yellowstone is on the list I might do that, but I don't know. Dbird - thanks for the map links, so what is on these road that makes them interesting? Chinashop - wisconsin??? You have got me interested. What is there? (other than tasty cheese) |

In August I did a loop in Colorado that was pretty kickass. Went from Silverton to Montrose to Gunnison to Lake City to Pagosa Springs to Durango and back to Silverton about a 500mile trip that is awesome 80% 30 to 40 mph twisties. |

Jamie, We're up in the air at this point, just know that the middle of August fits our time frame. I'd love to travel both WA & OR but it will depend on the cohorts. |

Been awhile since we've visited "The Rock." This might be the summer to come back. I'll let you know. Whereabouts are you? Avalon, Grand Banks, Gros Morne? Someplace else? |
