http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?artic le=27865 Do you think the new Daytona 675 had anything to do with it? |

It appears that the resurgence of 750 cc bikes are just around the corner with the 600's creeping back up. Suzuki has shown a great deal of wisdom by keeping them in it's line. What does it say that Truimph sells more bikes here than Buell does? I wonder how they compare in the Euro? jimidan jimidan |

Interesting thing about Triumph - the reviews I have read in US mags are largely favorable and I briefly considered a speed triple. However I read the Brit mags from time to time, and they often express concerns about reliability and have had several stories about the 675 blowing up motors. I would have expected the home team to be more upbeat than over here. Also read some pretty negative things about the new Bonnies as well. |

sells more bikes than buell....and has many more models to choose from, at least the base models. take out all the ST and Rocket III sales and you get a bit closer i think. |

"and has many more models to choose from " yes , appeal to such a broad base of cyclers like me who grew up on bonnies . they have the great retro factor . the venerable triumph name and reputation . sport bikes , sport tourers and the rocket III . something for everyone . about an hour ago i got my loan confirmed for mine . an '02 thunderbird . they were discontinued in '03 ;-( but found a cherry . 900 triple watercooled standard . |

There's a year old Bonnie in our motorpool -- great all-rounder! |
