I repeat: Anyone watch #4 LSU dismantle ND last night?? Florida beat LSU 24-10 this year. Don't think of UF as a weak team. They are the usual SEC team, tough and fast, not like MSU, Michigan, Ill. Ohio State's bowl record against SEC teams?? 0-7 $5 a point HA |

Another joke is given the Heisman. They played one tough team this year (Michigan). |

Now that Florida had it's moment in the Sun...what about Boise State as the only undefeated??? I say they are the true national champs..and if not then let them play Florida now...that will sort it out once and for all. GO BRONCOS!! |

Boise got lucky to have won their game...cmon, hook and ladder, statue of liberty and a end option? They'd have gotten trounced worse than OSU. |

regardless of how it was done...the win is still a win and they are still the only undefeated Division 1 team...the facts are the facts, I went to Colorado State man, so don't think I am a home team guy, because I am not, I just think that if you go undefeated, and win your bowl and no one else does..well that surely makes you number 1 at the end of the day. |

I could go undefeated against Montana state, North Dakota Tech and Colorado Christian. My Turkey Bowl team could beat the teams BS beat. Look at the schedule....who did they play? I'm not saying they aren't a good team, they are, but 4-5 times Ok. beats them. (Message edited by buellinachinashop on January 09, 2007) |

Notre Dame? I believe the only team the Irish can beat are service academies and yet they are continually ranked in the top ten. |

Idaho....Utah........Sacramanto State....Louisiana Tech. Might as well be the teams I mentioned. Who was ranked out of all them? My Turkey Bowl team could have gone to a Bowl too. After the BSC, it's not how good you are, its how many fans are you gonna bring and how much money can be generated. Wisconsin went to many many bowl games without even being ranked. Why? ON WISCONSIN! They draw fans and bring a ton of money with them. |

Don't forget, UCLA beat USC too, so the Oregon State game, to me, is meaningless. I'd bet my left testi USC would stomp BS back to the stone age. If BS was that good, they'd have been playing OSU for #1. |

I guess you didn't like the cold hard facts that at least FOUR teams went to bowl games. Ok, then a playoff system would remedy your claims as well as mine wouldn't they? food for thought. |

Bowl games are meaningless unless they're BCS. I agree with you though, a playoff would remedy all this coulda, shoulda talk. I also have to admit that the BS game was the most entertaining game I've ever watched. |
