If you do web sites, you might know that Microsoft is discontinuing FrontPage. They have a suite of web design tools out to replace it. The most direct replacement for FrontPage is ExpressionWeb. So I downloaded a 60 day trial. It also requires that you have .NET installed on your machine. Long and the short of this is that you might want to wait a while. I was not impressed with the functionality. Repackaging of Front Page. It was slow and it had one annoying feature which is wanting to reinstall itself every time mail comes in on Outlook! So I uninstalled it. However, the uninstall made the rest of the Office 2003 programs unusable. I had to reinstall them (Office 2003) to set things right again. I wonder if they only checked it against a Vista installation.. Asbjorn |
