My wife Tina completed her radiation treatments at the end of October - Yeah! We meet with her surgen this past week and he stated that she is right where she is suppose to be and healing slowly - Double Yeah!! Now she has to visit her two doctors on a rotation every 3 months for a year to monitor and check up, Hopefully thats all they need to do. We now have some rides in the planning for next year to make up for this past low mileage summer. I would love to head to the Dragon with the HVC (Hudson Vally Crew), but at this time I am not sure my schedule would permit. If it were to happen it would be on short notice (like events that way better anyway). Now for some different news, my son just failed his 6th road test for his license. What the **** is up with that. Here I am, a RiderCoach and NYS certified driving instuctor and I can't get him to pass a road test. If the Russian could teach bears to ride motorcycles for their circus, I should be able to teach the boy (19 yrs) to drive. Oh well, I am now paying someone else to take on this monumentous task ( I decided it would be less of a mental strain than let's say.....having Hammer in the back seat behind him telling/yelling {what's the difference?} him how to drive) and that will be his Xmas present. I promise to alert you all the day he does pass the test; this way you can use your GPS systems to navigate a route around our address for at least 6 months to avoid any possble conflict. Never a dull moment....... |

Congratulations on the good news, it must be quite a relief. My daughter failed her road test 3 times before getting it right. It was very difficult letting her drive on her own, but we eventually did. Not sure how she's doing now... Anyway, I hope these news make for an enjoyable holiday season, my prayers to you and your family for a complete recovery. |

Thanks All, With the cold coming looks like I'll spend the time looking forward to next years rides. I'll head out over the winter, but you won't find my passenger anyway near the bike when it's that cold. |

Glad to hear about your Wife. Sorry to hear about your Son. Planning a Trip to the Dragon early summer. If you can't make it in March. Keep an eye out. Will be a Group from Wisconsin heading down. I'll be posting for any one interested. |

So good to hear about your wife! I was a father's son at one time in my life and can appreciate your frustration - but hey, he and you will get through it. Compared to Tina's progress, your son's driving thing just kinda disappears in the background. Give her a long hug from a stranger half a continent away, would you? |

Good to hear Tina's on the mend. Keep the faith Don and provide lots of hugs and kisses, it's good therapy. I'll keep you and Tina in my prayers. I went down that path myself just 2 years ago. Toxic waste (chemo), radiation, then surgery and now all seems to be well. |
