Bdabuell - have to agree with you on the Dukes of Hazard statement! Trac95ker - you're funny! it's actually Christopher (which he hears a lot!) Now, back to the Dragon and March Badness IV! Who's going to GA? |

we still haven't decided if we're staying near the dragon or the north ga mountains. 12hr drive or 14hr drive. |

we'd still do the dragon, just stay closer to march badness. looks like everyone wants to be closer to the dragon. next question, do you all want to handle your reservations at the ironhorse seperately or should i find a cabin in the area and we can have as many as want to show up? |

for me..I say find me a cabin and I will be there. Less i need to do the better. But I am more than capable of doing it myself if it gets to be to hectic for you. I will just go with the flow till it happens. but count me in for either way you decide. |

we were there 6 months ago, great place! we're thinking of cabins only because it gives us more flexibility in numbers. people tend to pop in and out of these trips at the last moment. forcing everyone to make reservations well in advance stops some from considering the trip in the first place. just trying to keep it as easy as possible for all involved. |

I'd like to stay near the Badness. Spend Friday riding the Dragon. I don't think I want to be riding the Dragon on the weekend anyway. Thats not the time to be on it. I'm sure the guys down there know killer roads. Plus we won't have to worry about semi's, dump trucks and less cops. |

If you're considering MB IV, last year we got there late Friday afternoon and left Sunday around noon. Plenty of riding and social time. Carlos (M2nc) actually rode the Dragon Friday afternoon and then headed to Suches around 5 p.m. or so. The cabin we've rented lends itself to late night porch time with all Buellers welcome to come and join us. (Message edited by Ulywife on November 30, 2006) |

I'm sure the 3%er's can tell you about how many people came to MB III. We had 10-11 from C3 go. The Buell Demo Truck was there with a fleet of Buells and I think a V-Rod and/or Streetrod. Clown had ordered sling bags for the demo rides, so most everyone walked away with a bag, a demo ride on something other than what the rode in on and a chance to meet some fellow Buellers and BadWebbers. Our group did a variety of things. A few went to the Dragon on Saturday, while the rest rode the local roads, took in a demo ride and then played on Wolf Pen Gap Road with the 3%er's. March Badness takes place at TWO (Two Wheels Only). They have camping, rooms and a mobile home for rent. I think the 3%er's pretty much took over all the rental area, but there was plenty of place to camp. Our cabin was only 11 miles north of TWO, so Rebecca and I did our own thing and drove to TWO when we were ready to. The food at TWO is excellent. It is a DRY county, so be prepared to bring your own alcohol/cooler. Some people had bon fires out by the campground and as the night went on, we went back to our cabin and hung out and had a few drinks. The area is beautiful. The roads are twisty and there are lots of motorcycles of all brands. From my understanding, it's not anything like Daytona. There's less scheduled events, but much more riding time. It reminded me of a floating party. Come and go as you wish. Some may decide to take a loop and you never knew how many were going this lap. Last year was our first year going to March Badness. Carlos (M2nc) and Brankin (1313) had been down to TWO the year before and met up with other BadWebbers and some of the 3er's. I'm sure those who actually rode the roads can tell you more than I can!

GA is starting to pull me in that direction leave that rope lying around and you'll be yanked into GA before you can blink your eyes! It really was a lot of fun. I guess it's our version of the southern Homecoming. While there's no factory tour and Erik Buell isn't there, you'll still have a great time.

Y'all will miss out if you do not make it down to Georgia. March Badness is an amazing event. Awesome riding and an opportunity to meet some great people. MBII MBIII It keeps getting better every year. People have been coming from all over the country. I like Ulywife's description: our version of the southern Homecoming Like to ride and party? Come play with us. The Dragon is great but watch out for tourists. I promise you will not be disappointed if you come to Suches. We will show you roads you may never forget. We would love to have you all. |
