Going off to get a pitbull front stand tomorrow, but I have got a bit of a problem.

I cant take my bike to the shop and try it out and I am confused with the figment guide from pitbull.

They say a #7 fits all buells except:
Blast #2
RS #8
S2 94-95 no fitment
XB9s & XB12s #2

Pitbull fitment guide:
http://www.pit-bull.com/docs/fitting_chart_pins.pd f

So my question is the lower triple different from XB lightnings to Firebolts?? Or is this poor Buell knowledge at work?

Any body have a front pitbull for there XB? What size do you use?

Thanx guys

Another silly question. Will the front stand be tall enuf for use with a ULY?

I I have my eye on the "newfront stand"

you will need the #2 pin
You will need to take off the "Beak" before you use it on a Uly.

Just for your info.
I sell the front stands for 140.35

Got the pitbull, but I have a few more questions.

1. The #2 pin is loose in the bottom of the triple, it wobbles back in forth when I insert it. I would assume it would have been a tighter fit?

2. My forks are very hard to turn when I lifted it up. More than when I lift it with a floor jack. Is this normal?

I have to confirm that loose fit that you described on the #2 Pitbull pin on the XB lower.

You can still turn the front end and work on it though. Always thought it was kinda sloppy myself. Still thinking of a brass bushing but heck, it's been working a couple years for me now with no ill effects.

Its loose with the #2. Take the pin out the stand and put it in with your hand. Very loose, sloppy. I figure if we had so many pins to choose from there would be one that more fitted. I figure the stand/bike would be a lot more solid if it were fitted better.

I think if it were a tigher fit you would risk having it get stuck in there.
