Don't forget the annual ASBN Birthday Party on Monday, December 4th, at 6:00 PM at the Straw Hat Pizza Parlor in San Leandro. We're embarking on our ninth year of ASBN without ever missing a "First Monday of the Month" This has been at Hooligan's, The Firehouse Grill, Coco's, (for two months) and now at the Straw Hat Pizza Parlor where we've been meeting for over three maybe four years. There is rumor that the location of ASBN might be due for a change, and one location that has been presented is Dick's Restaurant on Alvarado Avenue in San Leandro, less than a mile (about four minutes away) from where the Straw Hat is. If you are in the area, pleas stop by Dick's Restaurant at 3188 Alvarado St San Leandro, CA 94577 (510) 357-5639 http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=dicks+res taurant+san+leandro Take a look at the "back room" and see if the menu is what you'd like, and know that there won't be delivered meals, you'll have to get dinner in the restaurant and carry it back (through the full-service cocktail lounge I might add) to the meeting. The First Monday of the month would be the meeting date, keeping with years, almost a decade of tradition, so if you're in the area, please stop by and on December 4th, we'll see what kind of response we get at the big party. Don't forget too, that Vallejo Buell has donated a $1,000.00 certificate towards the cost of a new Buell at Vallejo Buell for the first lucky winner in our birthday raffle. We're still soliciting donations for the raffle as well, so if you can donate, please consider doing so. and Don't forget American Sport Bike, Al LIghtin will be there too. If you were wanting to purchase something, now might be a good time. If Al is coming up anyway, I am sure he could bring the item or items you are wanting up with him, saving you shipping costs? Give him a shout over at American Sport Bike Vik will also be there talking about track days, Reg will be there to enlighten us with his wisdom, and I am sure there will be more!
