What are some good cold weather gloves?? I will ride most of the winter (rain or foggy excluded) and my old gloves are not as warm as they used to be. I am looking for some good, warm, not bulky, protective, comfortable, inexpensive gloves. Did I mention they need to be inexpensive?? Thanks in advance. Jason |

you can increase the warmth of your existing gloves with liners -- lots of types/materials available at bike shops and hunting/outdoor stores -- I've got some silk liners that make a big difference |

I got a pair of Olympia cold weather gloves for new enough. I rode in them in thirty degree weather and felt like it was summer. |

I find the best and cheapest cold weather gear for motorcycling can be found at ski shops. |

I would suggest hippo hands first. Next would be heated gear. I have heard good reports about the Olympia Gloves. |

heated grips I've had them for about a year now It's one of them things that I can't imagine not having any more. BTW, I've tried Gerbing ele gloves, and I didn't like plugging them into my sleeves every time I put them on. With ele grips you just flip the switch, and go! Even on the fly. Widder electric gloves. No hassle pulling your handgrips to install heated grips or any of that mess. Just plug in and put on and go! |

About 5 years ago I put a set of Kimpex Heated Grips on my S1. They are still working and have been very good as I don't like wearing thick winter gloves while riding. I think they cost about $35.00 Canadian at the time, had to get a second throttle sleave and shave the inside with heavy sandpaper so it would work properly. |
