being that we're 1000 miles away it's either a trailer show or i turn my pilot powers into squared off trailer tires by the time i get there. plus a small issue of time that the trailer helps with. the bench-racing and general trash-talk that goes on inside of the tow vehicle is also somewhat priceless. we also rotate bikes off the trailer for those that get the "itch" during the trip. so yes it'll be a trailer show! |

If any of you are having difficulty deciding about coming down to GA for March Badness... Here is a little taste... Black_Sunshine chasing Odie up Hwy 60. And if you are not familiar with Wolf's Pen Gap you are in for a treat. |

If you get to the Cherohala Skyway, and you're on a Uly-you have to go here:
Traveling west on the skyway, take the paved road on the right(1.6 miles from TN border). Follow the road to the left then right at this sign. Ulysses Heaven. |

Just west of Unicoi Crest. 1.6 miles from the TN border. On 143. In NC. There are a ton of backroads, dirt roads, gravel roads, camping trails, fishing trails. One of the gravel roads fades away, and parallels a river for 20 miles or so. Washouts narrow crossings and light fording can be had there. Really an awesome ride with very little traffic. |

"I've never trailered my bike anywhere, thank you. I use my pick-up truck..." You mean I have to get a truck AND a trailer? |

all right, so howbout we leave ny on thursday am and come back on monday. leaves us 3 full day's of riding with a day of driving on each end. figure 12hr drive from orange cty ny. if we stay at the ironhorse(worked out perfect last time, plus only $18 a night, covered bike parking full service area if somebody has a problem, etc) we'll be close to the dragon as well as only two hrs from march badness. if anyone has a better idea they can shove it up their uh i mean say it now. lets nail this thing down so we can get time off and make reservations. nebo guys will have to either come down the night before or hoof it pretty damn early, either way it seems they got their transport covererd. trac needs to find out if luke will make it and i need to check on rich, fritz, john, karl, todd and jay. myself and john both have 4door pickups so that covers 8 people and 6 bikes. we may need another truck or trailer. plus we have a few new guys from the area, never know our numbers may continue to grow. ??at what size does the group become too large?? |

speaking on the behalf of......... well actually I'm volunteering his services. between Firebolteric and myself we can provide transportation for anyone in the NEBO group. as long as they meet us in our neck of the woods He has a truck and I have access to multiple trucks/trailers. more than likely we would head to the HV area after work on Wed night and make like a baby and head out I know that line should be in the other thread with the HV group on Thursday morning. THE GROUP CAN NEVER GET TOO LARGE. <--------- I love this one (Message edited by damnut on November 28, 2006) |
