Christmas came early this year!!!! A special thank you goes out to Dave S from Appleton HD/Buell. If you ever, ever need to order something from Buell, please see Daves first. I received my new Uly Black Low seat in the exact amount of time he stated and even over the holidays! Simply amazing! Just for reference, I ordered the hand-guard mounting hardware for my Uly from my local HD/Buell shop on the same day I ordered the seat from Daves in MN. I am still waiting on my parts with no eta in sight. Once again thank you Daves you are serious a credit to the trade! I think the others will echo my sentiments... Merry Christmas Dave! Just a quick update. I went into the Allen, TX HD/Buell dealer today to check on the status of my parts that I ordered the same day I ordered the ones from Daves. I hadn't received a call yet about them, so I wanted to make sure someone there knew something. I ping the parts help and they start the search. He tells me he has some but not all of my order. Now this has been over 3 weeks since I placed and paid for said order. I asked them if they had an eta on the parts not accounted for. He checked the system and he said "I see them being packed, but not shipped". with a perplexed look on his face. Is there anyone out there that has had this "status" before through Buell. He couldn't give me an answer on when they would get it or when it would ship. To be clear, I own an 06' Uly and I ordered the following. mounting bolts x 4 for the handgaurds Pivot Shaft Clutch side Pivot Shaft Brake side Throttle Cable The Pivot shaft is the item in question. This is nothing more than the long bolt/nut configuration that holds the handgaurds on to the lever mounts. Anyone? Anyone? | ||

I ordered about the same parts and I can't complain too much about the local Corpus Christi H-D dealer. They are not too sure what a Ulysses (they do have on in the rental fleet)is but after I pointed out the right parts catalog, they did get the parts in about 9 days over Thanksgiving, called me when they cam in and they acted pretty pleasant about it.
