Congratulations... the Baja 1000 is nothing compared to fatherhood! It's an emotional roller-coaster that I wouldn't trade for anything or even.... everything! |

I can tell you're not excited by the fact that you posted the news to the badweb. Yes... CONGRATULATIONS!! LOL.. kind of ironic that you work for "FOUR" wheeler magazine. Just kidding, motorheads shouldn't really care about trivial things like wheels. BTW, I love that magazine |

That's really cool! I'm the father of three and I love my kids to death. My oldest is my right-hand-man. They make you proud as you watch them grow and you see so much potential in the things they can do.... Up until the day they ask for the keys to your bike, then you see too much potential in the things they can do |

Well this is our first one, and came as a bit of a surprise. We were planning on getting married next year and then starting our family, but I guess we did it backwards! Oh well. It is a good thing we already live together and have been together a couple years, makes everything that much easier. The important thing is we are committed to this kid and are both very excited. It will be the first grandchild for both of our parents, and they seem to have the nutty switch set to "on", so I am pretty sure our little one is going to be as spoiled as possible. Funny how the road to life works, but I am ready for the next turn - good thing I ride the Pace. :0) Thanks for all of the kind words from everyone. Been reading them to my Heather and she really appreciates them as well. --Sean |

As a father of 2 teenagers - Enjoy, this ride will have more twisties than any Buell ride you've been on. Best wishes to you and your new family. |

Congrats, My little boy is 9 months and at this moment is playing on the floor beside me. I know the feeling about surprises my wife was on the birth control when we got pregnant. We started trying again for the second baby thinking we would be just pregnant by Christmas or New Year’s well that didn't happen. She will be 3 month my Christmas. On serious note make sure you have some decent life insurance and I have AFlac for accidents. It will cover my salary for year if I was Hurt. A will is also a good thing to have. On a positive note Take Picture, Movies, it goes by so fast I swear every week there is something new it’s amazing Congrats.... Ted |

Thanks Ted, we were on birth control too, but she had to take a short course of antibiotics, which basically made the pill not work. Oops. We are guessing she is 6-7 weeks right now and we are going to start taking pictures soon. Fortunately we both have good health benefits and I am going to start looking at life insurance soon. Good thing she likes my bikes. Although, I'll probably sell the Sporty to get a little more cash reserves. Buell is staying, though. --Sean |
