hey, any of you Hudson Valley folks going to be out and about on Saturday morning? I'm thinking about riding for a few hours in the morning. It'll be early (start @ 8-8:30 ish ) since I have to conform to my babysitter's schedule for the day. Here's the route I'm going to do for part of it...
I've ridden most of these roads at some point, but never all in one go as a (sort-of) loop **EDIT...this Saturday morning, the 18th (Message edited by BDABuell on November 15, 2006) |

I'll be headin out around 8-ish...I don't think I'll have enough time to get out to Bear Mtn/Perkins area (my babysitter seems to think she has things to do on a Saturday other than watch my kids...) but if any of you guys want to head out this way a bit I'll be doing the route above we could meet up at #1 on the map (rte 6 and 36) or at the exit 2 Starbucks if you'd like a caffeine jolt first... |

i'll probably be too late to hook up with luke... I just got home, so you're probably right... we'll have to make sure we hook for a ride soon when the timing works better ...Met up with Fritz and we rode the route above....worked out pretty well tho there was a little more traffic than I'd like ideally. Fritz even managed to catch some big air....but I think I'll leave that story up to him... |

too bad we missed ya luke, next time definitely. saw fritz go by the ducati dealer on 9w as i was waiting for hammer(we need to get fritz a cell phone!). had a cool afternoon with injunmort, tramp, and hammer in morts bike museum. any gearhead would love the 75ft garage filled with bikes going back 8 decades that mort calls home! even got a steak lunch and a hh2 run shirt out of the deal. |

mort even donated a free triumph to the "save the hammer" winter cabin fever foundation. come spring we'll see if hammer can scrape ti knee pucks with a late sixties triumph. |

standard Injun Mort benevolence.... I can't say enough about what a great guy he is. I cannot wait to see what Hammer & the rest of the HVC do with that ole Trumpet. (Hammer deserves it,incidentally) I'm in for the Dragon when I get back. |

jay, how many bikes do you think could fit in morts trailer? by the way, mort was very interested in the possibility of an 03xb9r, told him their cheap used. the magic word....mort has the bike addiction hardcore! |
