This is a tour of the Vanson factory. It's a little over 20 minutes and pretty cool. There are a couple of Buell products featured.

Yeah mine was too, you can kind of see why in the video. Love the jacket though and can't wait to get some pants when I go back for Christmas

thanks for the link.. . Vanson are good peeps, and great product. my company tried to work with them a few years ago to redesign their website (it needs some help). everyone was incredibly good to us. got the full tour, some demos, etc. i think i was the most psyched since i was already a believer + moto junkie.

i hope they can keep everything state-side. its gotta be tough.

Dave - How pleased was I to get my XRVM jacket much earlier than you thought I would !

I almost wish I got it later in the year now however -- not warm enough to wear the damn thing anyway ..

I've been to the original Vanson Factory in Fall River Mass.. I took a walk around tour and watched the various stages of how a Vanson Leather is made, very interesting. They may take a month or two to make it, but it sure is worth it. Best Leathers in the world.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Vanson stuff.
Best leather I have ever owned.

Bcordb3, there's usually always deals to be found. the sale/one-off/prototype racks have some great stuff at great prices.

even if you find something on the standard rack, sometimes they will trim off some cash or you'll find the same garment with a little different zipper config (for example) for way cheaper.

i got $200 off my jacket few years ago just 'cause the girl working that day hadn't seen anyone pick it up in a while.

I'll have to check it out, I only live about 30 minutes from Fall River! My wife and I have some friends that live in Fall River, we are there once or twice a month.

If you've never been to Vanson's factory store, you're in for a real treat. Just the smell as you walk through the door is worth the trip.
