I am happy they were never used in a large quanity (It seems to me that when you pass fluid through a rotating shaft the posability for a leak is just to great to be very reliable) |

That's a wild idea, but it looks very impractical and the hub has to be heavy . However for endurance racing if there were quick disconnects for the brake lines that would male for some quick front wheel/tire swaps. Use a Single side swingarm on the rear and you'd blaze through the swaps. Changing break pads and balancing may be nasty issues though. But that's just my take on it. |

Unsafe too. The is a company that makes custom HD wheels will a similar spoke arrangement. There have reportedly been many failures due to the straight-pull design of those heavy spokes...does cool cool tho! Bret |
