Look. . . I just report this crap. What do these people do with their lives that provides the luxury of sitting (quite literally) on their ass for two days. The best story was the gal who called in sick....he boss drove bye and fired her on the spot. This must be one bad-ass game! Whatever floats your boat.....I have my vices as well.

Hey. . . this might not be altogether a "bad" thing. If a person pays $5,000 for a"game", doesn't that make a guitar (I mean, culture, the arts, music and so forth) sound like a steal. I'd welcome letters to my wife.
Yes.....yes, now my vices seem in perspective. And before anyone bitches, please note the SALE price on the right AND make note that it comes with two, courtn'em TWO, cases . . . a hard shell AND a gig bag.

The news has been playing video all morning of the guys waiting for days to buy a console. They all seem to be just about the right age for military service. Time to grow up and stop playing with yourself................................ |

My idiot son paid 5 of his friends $50 each to wait in line at different stores. He ended up with three consoles. He immediately stacked them in his closet and went back out to get in line for the Nintendo Wii. I haven't seen him since. Way to blow the college fund, knuckle head. |

Hopefully he is waiting to re-sell on december 23 or so when the over-indulgent parents of the video game generation get desperate and will pay ridiculous amounts. Remember tickle me elmo? Or the whole cabbage patch kids thing? With limited numbers being imported it will be a feeding frenzy as christmas get closer. Ahhhh the christmas season! Tis the season to stick it to the desperate. |

Way to blow the college fund, knuckle head. You won't be saying that when he adds 10k to the fund and has a PS3 of his own. |

Sony claims that they plan to ship 2 million units to the US by the end of the year. I expect much of the overpaying to subside, but who knows what Christmas will bring, people dont even think straight when it comes to shopping. Most the stores I have talked to expect to get more consoles yet this week, but they do not know when. Since there is a shortage of consoles, they are not going through the wherehouses. Sony is shipping them direct to the stores via UPS. So, I'm just gonna have to be lucky enough to stop in somewhere and grab one.

The Nintendo Wii came out on Monday. |

There are 7027 new Tickle Me Elmo T.M.X.'s on E-bay right now for double retail. They go for $40 at Walmart and you can order them online. From Walmart...I don't get it. PS3's will be going on E-bay in 60 days for half retail. I'm just waiting. That'll give me a chance to buy a TV before then. I heard you can get TV's with actual remote controls now. My Dad had one years ago before anyone else, it was me. |

Kdan, You teased me! Once I saw an Elmo video on Youtube I wanted to get one for the 18 month old. I usually don't admit Christmas is coming until after Thanksgiving but I assumed it would be hard to get. Sure enough, noone has it online yet. Not even Walmart. I'm hoping the market saturates before Christmas. Not only is it pretty funny, it's a pretty impressive mechanical achievement. |

I don't think a lot of you are realizing that most of these people who are waiting in line for 2 days (wasting time) are waiting to get one of the first ones so they can re-sell them on the internet for over 3 times what they paid for them. It's the same thing people did with the PS2 when it came out and the X-Box 360 when it came out. To be honest with you, If my company hasn't been laying us off every weekend for the last month and I was still alowd to work overtime, I would have been in line somewhere trying to buy one. I played one a couple days ago and it's seriously the best in every catagory as far as gaming quality gose. Can't wait to play a first person shooter on it. |
