I demand a free bike. Right after the 9sx came out, I mocked up a photoshop of a 9sx with an artificially extended suspension. Basically a 9sx, but with more ground clearence. I release all claims to prior art if you give me one free Seems like a 9 motor would be a better fit. Maybe it's something cool like a new oversquare 12. That ought to be good for very close to 100 horses at the rear. |

Hey "wardan123", where did you get that brochure? They aren't supposed to be released until tomorrow, 8/14/06. The bike's debut was today at the IMS in Milan, Italy. We will see it here tomorrow and should be up at Buell.com by Wed. Check back tomorrow-there's something special going on with this bike's release (i.e-a contest). |

Don't you just love mix and match manufacturing? What's next for Buell, a make your own model - pick your parts bike lineup? (Message edited by JScott on November 13, 2006) |

White marks the end or beginning of a buell milestone. This year we had a white blast and a white XB, next year is the year! 25th anniversary! |

Don't you just love mix and match manufacturing? What's next for Buell, a make your own model - pick your parts bike lineup? Laugh, but I think that sounds like an idea. Just think, back in the day when people would go to the Chevy Dealership, order a Chevy Caprice, and order it with a 396 with a Bench seat, or with a Rock Crusher. Think of the possibilities, "I'll take a Blast with a 1203, please." (Message edited by cochise on November 13, 2006) |

Hey did you guys see that thread on the new 1098 from Ducati? |

Wow...........yet Another Lightning! I guess that I was hoping for something else. I don't know what....but something else. Don't we have enough choices with the Lightning? How about more choices for the FIREBOLT....!!! Sorry. I shouldn't have expected too much from Buell. |

Was anyone peeved with the XBRR when most of the current bikes were naked and this "sportbike" thing showed up for racing! I don't think adding a bike to the line up for the purpose of selling in Europe is a bad thing. I love sumo and its just natural progression. That type of racing is huge on the other side of the pond and its getting bigger here. As soon as I can find all the parts I would love to build one for myself. I've said it a hundred times that I regret selling my MXer. I wish I could have kept it and bought the M2 but things happen. It would have made a great 250 4-stroke sumo. |

Qoats, I uh, "found" it at a dealership during my travels today. I don't think the guy helping me knew what it was nor any of the security procedures to be followed around it. They like so many other dealerships have no real interest in Buell. I don't want to get a dealer in trouble so you'll fogive me if I don't name a dealership. Thanks, Andrew Ward |

They're building what's selling in Europe... which is Supermoto. It's a big deal over there... not so much a big deal over here, as can be see by the comments. My opinion would be in-line with the rest... BFD. |

Now that I have become objective, let me point out that this is one of those "mid-year" releases, they aren't going to bring out some HUGE beast at this time. July is the MAIN release, let's wait till then. |

If that's a Buell supermoto my arse is a citrus fruit! Supermotos are selling well in the UK. Buell are hoping to pinch a few sales by taking the less radical approach to appeal to those who like the look but need a more practical approach from a bike. Funny how Buell have become less radical over the last few years when all others are doing their best to create and bring to market bold designs. Witness BMW's ever increasing and versatile range. Witness Hondas new generation Hornets. Witness Yamahas MT 01 and OS models. Witness Kawasakis EN. These are just a few examples. Need I mention the Italian manufacturers - who seem to have the art down to a tee. Buell gone soft. I can't wait for Buells commuter scooter. That will be the day I rid my self of anything Buell. Imagine the embarrassment down the Bingo hall, never mind the Clubhouse. Rocket |

I like Buells, but they are seriously losing the plot by producing bikes like this. It is hideous. Supermoto my a*se. This cowpat of a bike wouldn't last 10 seconds against a Super Duke. C'MON BUELL ! WAAAAAAAAAAAAKE UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP ! |
