I understand this is a Buell oriented website, as I do have one. But I did alot of google searching and could find nothing on Mazda Miata MX5. I just purchased this car this last weekend for a winter-mobile. I am not trying to make it a "ricer" but I want some wheels for it. If any of you have a MX5 and would like to share some ideas with me I'd REALLY appreciate it. I can't realy find anything on the internet that interests me. I would like to also put some sort of a stereo system in it, and an intake. Please leave links, or e-mail me if you have any ideas on what I should get. Thanks Alot, Brad. |

You can also try the Tire Rack website, tirerack.com. It's a great site where you can put in your car, pick its color, and then see how it looks with different wheels. It's also the best place I know of to buy tires, at least for sports cars. I've used them since I read about them in Grassroots Motorsports, and have saved mega $$$$. |

It's a 1996 with 76000 miles. Drives good, clutch is good, gears shift fine and I got away with it for $5600. I like it. I relate the handling to that of a Buell. It has a 89.2 inch wheel base. |

I have a 1992 w/over 160,000 miles on it and it still runs great. My wife and I took it to the Dragon, talk about a fun car to drive. I was going to turn it into a Monster Miata, but then gas hit $3 a gallon...... |

I figured it would be cool at the Dragon. I haven't even taken my bike there. The car runs good. I just want to let it "breath". Because we all know how our bikes run "EPA Standards". I also think it looks pretty BA with the roll bars over the seats. I'm looking into that also. Wolf...You have any pics of it? |

Here are a a few more sites that may interest you. http://www.miata.net/ http://store.miataparts.org/ My winter driver is a 2004 MiataSpeed and I agree with your Buell analogy. It's been said that it's more fun trying to drive a slow vehicle fast than to have to drive a fast vehicle slow. |

Pwnzr- I had a '76 Scout for a few years. Wow what a fun vehicle. I sure had a great time trying to get it stuck. One winter I had the tires 8" off the ground going through snow drifts. It took us 2 hours to dig it out. |
