Stoner is still a rookie. Expect more from him as he matures. The 800s will probably be tuned more to his style with an on-off switch power band like the 250gp bikes. | ||

His crash wasn't televised, only the reports afterward reported that's what happened. The announcers simply mentioned they hadn't seen him come around for a couple of laps.  "Enjoy it, Nicky... I'm taking it back next year." | ||

I think stoner will be fine, Rossi crashed a lot in each of his first seasons,125,250,500. Of course I'm not in anyway trying to compare stoners talent to Rossi's. If Rossi had not crashed I wonder if Bayless would have won? Hayden was stalking him up until the crash. | ||

If Rossi had not crashed, Nicky's strategy would obviously have been considerably different. If he had to pass Bayless to win the championship, he would have, or crashed trying. He said as much himself. jimidan |
