All, I'm currently stationed in Farah Afghanistan serving with the United States Navy working on a Provencial Reconstruction Team. I am also the proud owner of a 2006 XB12X. I bought the bike in February and put over 6000 trouble free miles on the bike before I got deployed in July. I use a photo of my bike as my wallpaper on my computer here, and have gotten a ton of positive comments on the bike. I'm looking for a flag, banner... Anything that I can put in our FOB here to show off the Buell colors. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on such a thing? I'm willing to pay. All is going well, Thanks, LT John Baise PRT Farah APO, AE 09354 |

Hi John, Thanks for your service. I'm sure a fellow named Court will respond to your post shortly. He knows where to get everything, and this is just the sort of project he loves to do. I've got a Uly as well. Had it for 10 months and have just a little over 12000 miles on it. |

Hey LT Similar story here. Bought mine in Nov, 7000 miles before I got deployed to Iraq in September. I just put out a request for a flag and got some help (Buell Flag/Quick Board). Here's the wallpaper I use
Send me a pm and let me know how long you'l be there. I could fly the flag for awhile then send it over to you. I'll bet we could keep that thing bouncing around the AOR for quite a while |

What is a "FOB"? Would a poster work? Let me know. I like the pic I took a few years back outside the Buell factory...

Hey Davo We are all doing very well here, thanks. As far as the bike - I don't know. I did email the shop but didn't get a reply yet. I have a friend of mine who is going to pay them a visit. Phone calls are precious - not ready to use one of my allotment to call the service desk and get put on hold. |

To all, Thanks for all of your support and Ziftron3 that would be awesome. I'm sure midnight rider would say the same, it's great to know so many great americans appreciate the sacrifices we are making on their behalf. I wish the Afghanis well, but we do this for you. I look forward to meeting some of you upon my return and it makes me proud to be a Buell owner. I'll try to get some photos of some of the motorcycles they use over here. They love putting fur or carpet over the tank,seat...Haji Davidson! Thanks again, LT |

Great to hear from you and also from Freebaise! You guys take care of each other over there! I am a Scoutmaster and I got a couple of former Scouts over there so all you guys look after each other and come home soon and lets ride! I don't know how much internet time you get but there is a cool site that I can recommend for next Saturday night (10/14): http://www.amaflattrack.com/index.php?UID=FA4Z3SIyolskQf4y64xSNMfnF2TtBS Look at the links under series info. You can watch on line. It is going to be a great show in Ohio if you like V twins! |

I already have a Buell Flag coming, thanks to Bomber! And I did bring my Fireman Jim /Team Elves T-Shirt with me - just looking for the right background for a suitable photo I don't want to be greedy -but if you think you've got enough for 2 airdrops I sure would like to show this Hayabusa rider over here in Iraq what kind of guys and girls American Motorcycle riders are.
