I posted this in "chassis" last week, but no replies. I was told to ask Dave as he is the resident guru.. anyways, I just picked up a 2000 X1 and it has rearset footpegs on it. I would like to find a set of stock footpegs/levers for longer distance rides. Can you point me in the right direction to find a set of used (cheap) stock footpeg/lever assemblies? Also, are there any photos available of how the stock equipment mounts??? thanks in advance cody |

thanks for the replies guys.. Dave, how much would a new setup cost me if I am not able to find good-used? and Dfishman.. Once I get the stock pegs back up and running, I will probably sell these. They are the Crossroads 2-up with billet driver and passenger pegs. Perfect condition. |

Scrambler: I suggest you start looking in e-bay. I saw a NOS brake pedal listed one or two weeks ago by "effordables". You might contact him in case he still has it. There are often sellers parting out Buells too who will sell you parts that they have not listed. Mark |

Yeah Mark, I saw that lever on ebay, but it was only the shift lever. I need everything (knuckle/linkage rod/etc) on the shift side and everything on the brake side. I am in contact with one ebayer who "might" be able to help me out when they return home, but no word yet. In the meantime, do any of you have close up photos of your stock peg setup that I could look at? Especially the brake side? I have no idea what to even look for when it comes to those parts.. |
