Which of the HD dealers in Western PA is most Buell-friendly and most knowledgeable in servicing Buells? |

I'm sure you'll get several opinions based on personal experience (what else can we offer?). I bought my bike and have had it serviced/bought parts at Cerini's in Belle Vernon. They seem to like the Buell's and Dave the service manager seems pretty knowledgeable. I can't say I've had any issues with them but I've heard the exact opposite from other people. I've heard (but no first-hand experience) that New Castle is the place to go for Buell maintenance/upgrades. I've been to Highland up in Somerset and bought some gear there during one of their sales. Every time I've been in there I've pretty much been ignored (didn't matter what I was looking at) though. That's about all I can offer. I've got an independent shop I go to for tire changes and whatnot, and pretty much do all of my maintenance myself. YMMV... |

New Castle HD/Buell is first rate. They have 7 people working there that ride Buells including the owner on a Uly. They also have some very cool"classic" Buells in the garage next door. Ask for the GM-Ted Williams and tell him Duck sent you by. Good, good people! Cerini's is a fine dealership as well. They have bailed me out several times while traveling back and forth between VA and PA. Plus they have to be the only Buell dealership in the world with a smaller HD sign than the Buell one....:> |

thats a tough question......... I got the Uly at Cerini. I like them and they are always nice and professional. I put my race kit on myself and went there for the TPS reset and they seemed a little cold to me. I don't know if it's just me or not but it felt odd. I've been to (and the bike is there now) to New Castle a few times. They are also very professional and seem to really care about the customer. They also have the most Buell clothing of any of the SW PA dealers. I went into Gatto to look at a Uly and they didn't have any, said they would call when they did, three months later they hadn't called. I stopped back and they had an ugly orange one (sorry Martin, just looked at your bio..... I live in Monroeville!) I talked to the same salesman I gave my number to and he had no clue who I was. NO SALE FOR HIM! I don't have a very good memory but if I wanted to sell a bike and someone told me they were very interested in a Uly, I would remember who it was! I have heard similar stories about the service dept. but no first hand info. |

New Castle has always been weird even before they were a Harley Shop...... But the diner is fun... And the sons place in Butler is incredable if you get the full tour...... |

Youngstown blows. New Castle is a lot cheaper than Youngstown and more organized. I will never recommend Youngstown to anyone except for a enemy. Thats the only 2 I have went to. I'm in Beaver County so Cerini and Gatto are kind of far. Cerini seems to have good deals on their leftovers. Hope this helps. |

Newcastle doesn't have a diner......Gatto in Tarentum does though. If you want food go there......If you want Buell.....good luck. |

Thanks for your all of your advice. I wasn't impressed with Gatto's either. I did see the (faster) Orange Uly there this spring and sat on it just to get a feel for it. I'm 6'3" with a 34" inseam, so I liked its tallness. I asked about a test ride, and they don't do it there, which is a bummer for me. I have had problems with their service department on other bikes. When I'm ready to buy, I'll probably head down to Cerini's ... New Castle is a bit too far for me. I get out to Somerset a bit (though not in the summer ... has anyone mounted a ski rack on a Uly yet?). |

New Castle did right by me when my XB's engine went out. I was quite please with their service department. Also, this Saturday (7th) is their open house. It just happened to be their open house when I took the XB in last year. Good time! Free demo rides, band, food, beer, etc!! I plan on being there! Hope to see a few other Buellers! |
