Sorry if I put this on the wrong list, but I can't manage to get my pictures to post. They upload and then I get an error message when I preview the post. I reduced them to 600x320 pixels and it said they had to be less than 71 kilo bytes. Isn't that tiny? Any pointers? TIA, Randy |

If it's a jpg, you might be able to change the "quality" of the picture. When I use photoshop, it always asks me on a scale of 1 to 10 how high I want the quality. You can right-click on the file in your file list and go to properties, and it will tell you the filesize once you've reduced the image. There's also a section in the badweb in the picture section with some advice for shrinking files without significant quality loss. |
