Got my JD Power survey regarding my new motorcycle purchase...... They have a spot for dealer service and sales man knowledge....hmmmm too easy. Now honestly I take my bike in and the service has been done correctly, but the idiot service writer and the bullsh1t I have to put up with from the parts guys...... The parts guy had no idea what a lightning was for pete sake. |

I got mine today. You are too kind as far as dealers go. Heard a squeak from the front brake this weekend and thought i'd change the pads although they still appear to have life. Not in stock... about a week to order. Love the bike overall, dealers (the local ones anyway) offer no Buell support that I have seen. |

If your pads have life, just scuff them on some concrete in a circular pattern....good as new. |

Got mine yesterday, they even included a crispy new dollar bill in the envelope for my time - they got a deal. Just think of all the email addresses and phone numbers they're gonna get for a buck (not mine). |

Got mine today. Just filled it out. Does JD Powers do this on their own as a consumer service or is it something that Buell requests (and I imagine pays) to participate in? |

Thanks for the info on the pads. If they're bonded I have lots left, at least 1/8". The point I was making is that I generally want to work on the bike spur of the moment, a nice day, extra time, etc... Buell dealers not stocking parts means I have to plan everything. I'll give them that I have always been able to get fluids and an oil filter when I want, otherwise good luck. |

Got mine, too. Lots of questions concerning the dealer, and I'm LUCKY to have an excellent dealer here. I've had my Road King serviced there for several years, and my Sporty before that. They installed the Race Kit on my XB12, and somehow got a fingerprint or smudge into the transparent outer airbox, so they gave me a new airbox cover. I didn't even notice it until the service manager showed it to me. No complaints, so they get a "10" on my survey. |

Just came in the mail today. And a whole DOLLAR to answer the questions, too! |
