Hey everyone, just wanted to say hello. Just got back from Fishing. Really poor season for me so I'm really happy to be home and riding again. Hope you all had a good summer.

Every one is epic and I've missed them all for like 15 years. Real bummer for me.

Sorry to hear your season was a dud, Jason. One of the downsides of the job, when it happens, is bustin’ your butt for nothing. I hope the next one makes up for it. It all seems to be more than worthwhile when that happens. You’ve been there; moping around the dock, feeling sorry for all those suckers on the hill that don’t know how to fish and have to work for a living.

Exactly, our camp is in Moser Bay but we do all of our fishing in Alitak bay. Great year for Humpies on the island but we could not pick them fast enough even if we were open to make it worth our while.
You would'nt happen to know Dan McClain?

John and Dan McLean live in Homer, occasionally pass through my shop.
My son fished upper Cook Inlet this year, reds never really showed up, pretty dismal season.

I have a good friend that fishes up there. He went home early not having caught a single fish.
