I knew they wouldn't pick Toby. I like Toby better, be he's too clean cut and mainstream for the image they want. Plus I don't think they liked his accent. Delana or Lukus - the Two "edgy" contestants were earmarked from the start. They got the most votes, and apparantly Lukus got the most total last night. Toby had a great original and really brought a lot of fun energy, but Lukus showed a lot of dynamic. That Radiohead song he did was awesome. Anyway. I wasn't surprised. I'm not saying Lukus was the best performer or artist - I just think he really will fit in best with that particular band. Toby has a chart topping song and can go out and form his own band all by himself now. OH oh OH oh OH OOOOH! EVS, mate. | ||

I was rootin for Dilana myself. Especially after doing the JC cover. Alas though, the other three were not looking for a female lead singer You can see how Lucas grew and learned from the experience. He can sing though. It took finding the confidence to let his voice be heard. and yes, Toby and Magni were both to clean cut for the image. | ||

I Tivo'd all shows so I could watch without the ads. I was actually rooting for Magni, but I always thought that Lukas would win. He fits the "image", and he can definitely sing! The guy does have an amazing voice! |
