I saw omeone in the opposite direction on route 12 in Dudley, Ma yesterday at about 4:00PM.

I would have turned around and caught up but there was a cop serving and protecting the intersection.

I was wasted from a 350mi ride to CT and back, heading home on 12. gorgeous day until i got to the last 20min of my ride, skies just opened up, drenched. hahaa, figures.

Woah! I dodged that!
I ended up taking 44 east to providence and then took 195 to the cape.

I didn't get rained on at all!
wonder how i pulled that off?

i got to 140N (i live in Princeton) staring at BLACK skies... i knew it was coming.. . then bam, soaked for the ride on 140 and 31. glad it was only for like 20min though, last time it was 2hrs straight on the pike coming back from a Berkshire run.

you're pretty close to CT 197, it's repaved in some spots. not sure about LEOs in that area but man would that stretch down to 171 be fun at speed.

That area is kinda bad for cops on the numbered routes.
I would suggest sticking to the nasty little farm roads.
Just the usual probems there:
Farm equipment
Random pedestrians
Animals
Gravel.....
you know.

If you follow route 197 west to 31, you will find many lovely farm roads.

They just repaved dresser hill road so it's nice : )
