I have a pretty good leak going on by the transmission sprocket. Would this be covered under warranty? I thought HD fixed this stuff after the buy back from AMF. |

Yea, it's covered under warranty but they make you sign a 'confidential' waiver... Just kidding about the waiver, it should be covered... Kevin |

Speaking of which, I asked my insurance company (House) if they would take care the garage floor that was damaged by the oil leaks of my 1970 Chevrolet, and they told me the garage floor would be covered. |

They sure do. I still have to take my '06 CityX in soon for a similar leak. Mine is VERY VERY slight. Maybe a tablespoon worth of oil lost by it in the past 4K miles. But I guess this is somewhat common on early '06s. Mine will be the 4th one they've seen. |

AMF never produced a single Buell, and even if they did it's way out of warranty |

Steve, a tablespoon every 4k miles? That sounds like enough to have a drip. I noticed mine last dec. or jan when I took the cover off to change my tire, there was just a little on the engine case. I figured I have another 1 1/2 years left on the warranty and wait till it got worse. Now it is starting to get on the idler pulley bracket and it is pretty wet behind the plastic cover. They shouldn't but I hope I don't get any crap about seals not covered under warranty when they pick it up tuesday. |
