I have rented a house near the Dragon for the week starting Sunday, Sept. 10. There have been a couple of cancellations, so I thought I would send out an invite if anyone wants to drop in for the night, or the week. Rates are cheap, and accommodations are nice. I'll be arriving at the house somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-4:30pm. First thing on my list after my 9hr trip is to unload the bike, and find a few cold ones.  (not consuming and riding, though. had to make that clear) I believe my "neighbors" will be there around 12-1pm If anyone needs a map to the house, I have two in pdf format ready for e-mail. Gary, I honestly have no idea what the address is. From just north of Robbinsville, take rt. 143 west(not business), follow Cherohala Skyway signs, Turn RT at stop sign staying on 143, go 5mi over the bridge and past the entrance to Blue Boar Inn 7/10mi, Slow Down approaching curve and turn right on gravel rd at first mailboxes on right. If you reach the Cherohala Skyway, you missed it about 1mi back. p.s. I know that Mapquest and some GPS maps are not exactly correct for that area. Nuts, Send me a PM. I can't attach a file through Badweb. I'll send both maps. One is the area around Robbinsville, and the other is a map of the "compound" at the treetops. There must be more Buellers close enough to come out for a day or two. Especially someone who knows the area better than I, and can give up the locations of good rides around the area??? | ||

Tank - Post to the Carolina Corner Carvers thread. Bigdaddy in particular is out near your way and frequents the Dragon. We have a couple more people who aren't terriably far from you. | ||
