Ditto what spreadem said, I had a bounty hunter run that plate and it came back with the missing juvenile message all the way out here in Cali, so the word is definitely out, for what that's worth. Any cop that sees that car and doesn't run the plate is derelict in his duties. I know out here if you have a hood that doesn't match they pull you over for reasons to be named later. I've sent out a mass email to the scale houses and to the few troopers I know personally. Hopefully they will forward it along to their associates as well. This may or not be of any help, but, have been ,making calls, and sending emails throught ALL bases(places I KNOW someone)...and throught the coast lines(TX, AL, MS, Fl, GA, SC, NC, VA MD, DE, NJ, CT, MA RI, etc) they have a CLEAR discription, and be now, should have received pics.... Calls and emails were made to Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky,Indiana, Delaware, and Maryland. Did you try to uncover the fax numbers for all of the police departments within the states surround the area, and send faxes to everyone with info, asking for their assistance? I couldn't locate any fax numbers. (i am at work with limited access) Best of luck | ||

As I've stated, only my best wishes are with rasmonis and his family. That being said, how, exactly, do I know that rasmonis is an innocent citizen? I do NOT, and neither do any of you. Am I pretty sure he is? sure! Do I know for certain? NO .... we are NOT judge and jury, on this motorcycle board, nor are we a posse. in fact, the only actual crimes of which I'm certain are the non-released/indemnified internet postings of the "suspect's" photgraphic likeness, and his vehicle registration info. This could pose an interseting legal issue both for badweatherbikers.com, it's principles and heirs, and for the resident(s) of rasmoni's IP address. This gang mentality really needs to slow down, take a deep breath, and THINK Before any of you gets angry with me for not hopping on the lynch wagon, please: THINK and, again, all of my best wishes go to any/all innocent parties involved in this inapproriate thread. | ||

Ras, I'll be on the watch here in the Shenandoah Valley, VA. Do you know if she has any friends that just left for college, within say a day or two drive? I had friends 'in need' drop in on me when I was in college. Young people, less than perfect cars, out of state tags (and other things) are everywhere at a college campus. For what it's worth, I'll be keeping an eye out in Texas, just in case. Brazos County sheriff's office will have everything pertinant in hand in about 30 minutes. Do you know if either of them are involved in the BDSM sub-culture? I have some connections in that culture here and there, and your description of their relationship matches a couple of different subsets of that group. Ras, Posting pictures that have been taken in public (say, outside of any private setting) is in no way illegal. Also, the vehicle tag/registration/description is public information, and also in no way illegal to post. In fact, his home address is also public information and can be safely posted as well. I also see no lynch mob mentality here, just a bunch of concerned folks trying to help a fellow Bueller find his daughter safe. | ||

Well I'm sure I'm going to be later than others posting to Tramp's comments but here goes. Tramp, I do understand the angle from which you are looking. However, if she knew that the choices were hers to make at the age of 18, what then caused her to turn up the calander? Here is where I could interject personal experience, but there is no need. Ras has taken the proper legal steps in his state, this board is however no different than neighbors talking. Lets say a giant neighborhood watch program. True, much of what we have read is legally all hear say, then again the car info in question is available to law enforcement all over the country. Not to mention that law enforcement in MD has seen fit to process this info. If they believe there are other problems they ,MD LE, will get the other proper authorities involved. Then again I could be wrong. That is however what makes this a great country, the right to FREE SPEECH!! Howard | ||

Ramon certainly is not seeking to promote a lynch mob mentality as Tramp has seen fit to proclaim, unfortunately. The man, Ramon, who I do in fact know personally first hand to be kind, thoughtful, honorable and honest, is merely asking for help finding and retrieving his daughter. If you don't care to support Ramon, then the honorable thing to do would be to keep your comments to yourself or at the very least, send them to Ramon privately, not on a public forum, not in the thread where a father and mother are asking for help to find their missing juvenile daughter. Period. That is my opinion. Some folks just can't keep their mouths shut. That said there are indeed one or two folks here expressing and promoting a lynching, though it is far from comprising the mentality of the vast majority of contributors here, in fact they are in the miniscule minority. That lynching mentality is unwelcome and entirely out of line here. Threatening to murder and dispose of someone on a public internet forum?  I agree with Tramp on that one. Think! Let's try to keep in mind before this turns into a Tramp bash-fest that he read the messages that no longer appear in this thread because they were (rightfully so) DELETED. There was a lot of latently violent rhetoric being tossed around, my own included. So let's stay on track and try to keep in perspective that there is a young lady missing from her family. BTW, I've gotten emails back from 3 scales in Utah, 2 in Nevada, 14 in California and a few scattered around the northwest states confirming they are aware of the situation. There are a lot of eyes on this. | ||

I just feel, as a mother, that any child who leaves home under these circumstances you HAVE to do what you can to find them and fix the situation. Even if fixing it simply means finding them and letting them know no matter what choices they make you are concerned, love them, and you need to have contact with them to always know they are safe, and home will always be a safe place they can always come back to if the need ever arises, especially a daughter !! Someone said, I forget who, you simply don't have the life experience at 17 to "always" make good choices. To sit back and give up “trying” to help that 17 year old make better choices, including finishing school and not running off with a young man, good or bad, at 17 years old is never the right choice in my opinion. Even if you don’t succeed, no harm can come of trying IF you do it with love, care and concern. My thoughts and prayers are with you that you find your daughter. | ||

Here's the latest information unfortunately it is not positive: Their cell phone service provider gave us the following: The last telephone tower they transmitted from is located in Knoxville MD (near his house on the border of VA). Prior to picking her up he, made 2 phone calls to a cell number registered in DC and two calls to our home number, the last being made @ around 11:30 Friday night. No other calls have been made from his phone. He tried to cancel his service Saturday. They unlocked Randie's phone but most of the history was erased. We go a few numbers and are trying to identify their owners. I found naked pictures of both of them as well (eeww) and some references to drug use. I imagine if they are using phones they are using someone else's and/or pay as you go phones. I have a friend with FBI contacts who will hopefully help us. We stopped by her work and the manager there said he can stall her if she comes to pick up her paycheck, their legal department is looking into whether they can hold it. That's all for now. | ||

Contacted the FBI and they are willing to take on this case. 2 suspicious phone numbers in DC & WV. (two Buellers in WV are keeping an eye on the residence looking for the car - thanks guys!) We're going to go to the local state parks and speak with a few rangers hoping they have seen them. I need help from anyone familiar with the Haper's Ferry area and the parks nearby. If your daughter is still a minor and they had naked pictures, can you get more authorities involved on child pornography charges? Pretty sure that charge normally goes straight to the SBI/FBI from what I've heard (we actually had a bust here on campus about two years ago, some guys roommate called the cops on him). | ||
