I am Randie's mom. Please please pass this info along to anyone you know who lives in Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, or PA. Most importantly, we know that he carries a gun and is a drug user. He is a very controlling and abusive boyfriend. She is in danger. Because she is considered a runaway, I fear that the cops will not pursue this with the same concern as we have. They are NOT actively looking for her.

I cannot thank the BAD WEATHER BIKERS enough for allowing us to use this board to put the word out. Thanks to everyone for your help and prayers. This is what community is all about and right now we need it.

Ramon,

I'm praying for you and I've sent the pics, and your descriptions, along to 3 NC sheriff departments (I volunteer for them and my daughter's a deputy sheriff.) I doubt they'll make it this far, but just in case.

May God bless you and yours.

Ramon, our prayers are with you and your family. I've sent this to my wife and asked her if she would post this on her wife's boards and ask for help as well.

no one has 'lost' family in this case.
a 17 yr. old lady and her 20 yr. old boyfriend ran off. happens every day, very rarely with nefarious results.
relax, people.
rasmonis, my best wishes are with you: remember that this is normal behaviour on the part of a 17 year old young lady.
expect the predictablephone call from her any time, now.

Just so no one takes this as a "regular" romeo and juliet runaway. I MUST STATE that this guy has a wrap sheet longer than my arm. He will not let her go even if she changes her mind. An abusive and controlling man is just that...abusive and controlling. And he has a gun!!!!!

Kay,
Don't worry about what Tramp says, he often makes the Devil's Advocate's case.
We all know this is serious to you and yours, and we all wish you the best, and ALL of us want a happy ending.
I also am helping here in the Atlanta area to keep an eye out.
My best to you and Ramon in your time of need.
I do hope Tramp is right and she calls soon.
Please, if there's anything I can do to help, I'll help, just say the word.

Sent it to my wife who is doing her part. Her sister lives in VA and her husband works for the Louden County Sherriff's Dpt. She passed the pictures on to him and he is evidently passing it around work for you. Let's hope Tramp is right though and that you get a phone call from her asking you to go pick her up, or better yet, she walks through the front door.

Tramp,
I hope you are right and the out come is just as you say so we can all have a laugh when this bastard ends up in jail...

Fact: He's on probation, an angry young man, controlling and not afraid to commit crimes.

As sad as it is to say, I'm sure many of you know guys like this (either from personal experience or from someone you know).

Save the anger for the battlefield where it actually works in your favor not when your better half folded your shirt the wrong way or failed to cook your dinner just the way you like it.

you get a phone call from her asking you to go pick her up

If that happens and she's in NC, give us a shout. If we can get to her first, we'll hit the door running and work out the details later.

My heart goes out to both of you. Unfortunately children just don't have enough life experience to know when they're in over their heads. So many things we never realize until we become adults and some you don't realize until you become a parent. Stay strong and keep the faith that she'll call or come home on her own.

Ras,
Sorry to hear, I can't imagine how furious I would be with this young punk.

I have posted a link to this thread with the New England area subaru enthusiast board... it is one of the largest forums on the net, it has many eyes.

Rasmonis/Buella_de_ville - is there anyone else you can notify (local news, newspapers etc) to get the word out and get her picture seen?

I'm very sorry - hope it works out in the best possible way. If my daughter was missing I'd be a mess. Keeping my eyes open

I cannot thank you all enough for your support and assistance. I could not have imagined I'd get this level of help.

Does anyone know somebody that may be able to help me find out the nearest cell tower his phone last accessed? He uses Cellular One, his cell number is: 240 409 1081. If I can prove he left the state, when he is found, he will have to pass "Go" and go straight to jail for violating his probation. Additionally, I can involve the FBI.

I've thought about the news, but I don't want them to know we're actively searching for them. If they left the state local news may not be of much help. I want them to feel safe to go out and make a mistake. This sounds stupid I know.

They will need to find employment soon. They can't have that much cash.

All cell phones made after 2001 are GPS devices. As long as the battery isn't dead it's tracking him. I don't think it even matters if his service gets cut.

good point...I don't think you can turn that off...can switch from "location" to "911 only" but I don't think you can turn it off completely

Thanks for the info M1,

How do I go about tracking this GPS device? I don't think cell phone companies will readily give out this info though. I don't want an exact location, just the nearest tower over the past few days. I'm running out of ideas here...

I have Randie's cell phone which is on Rob's account. They put a pin number on it the night they left. I'm sure there may be some valuable phone numbers on it. Anyone know how to hack into a SIM? I have 1-2 tries left...

You might have some luck asking about the tracking features on the phone HERE. You have to register for the forums, but it only takes a minute.

You probably have to get the serial data cable for the phone before you can unlock it.

Ras, don't give up brother. I see bad webbers from all over the nation keeping an eye out.

I would think if you called the cell company and got to a person who will listen you would probably get a response.
