She's been missing since Saturday. Her piece of shit MF boy friend picked her up in the middle of the night Friday and we haven't heard from either since. The guy's cell phone has been off and his mailbox is full which concerns us. His probation officer related he left a message stating he had to leave the area, I think they may have left the state. He's on probation for aggravated assault. We have done all the typical stuff you have to do, file a missing persons report etc. and the police have his information but is not actively looking for her (she's 17 her bf 20). They were last seen driving a beat up maroon (with grey primer hood)1989 Chevy Beretta MD lic plate: 5AW N87. She's fair, 5'6", 130lbs dirty blond hair and striking blue eyes, perfect straight teeth (she recently had her braces taken off). He: fair approx. 5'6", 150-165lbs (wet), short brown hair, mustache, and scruff, brown eyes usually seen wearing a wife beater with pants/or shorts. They may be as close as Laurel MD, VA, WV or PA, but I really have no idea how far they may have gone. He may be armed and he's got a short, bad temper. Do not approach them please, just call the cops. Thanks, -Ras |

Man this is terrible, as a Dad myself I feel for you. I live in Ohio and probably won't see them. Can't the state put out an amber alert for them since she is still a minor? You and her will be in my prayers for a safe return! |

My family will pray for yours. I have two teenage sons and if anything ever happened to them... I can't imagine your grief. Keep us posted, please. |

Imeazy, They could be anywhere if they are out of state. Posting here was the only way I could get help nation-wide just in case they decided to trek across the states. Amber alert won't work because she left willingly and I think because of her age. Not getting much help here from the police or juvenile services. They can only do so much under the circumstances. |

Ras- Make sure you check with the police and have them enter your daughter into NCIC. That's the computer system all agencies use when looking up licenses, warrants, etc...That way if a police department does a traffic stop on them it will flag it in the system. The only problem I see is that they might be hesitant to put her in as a missing person if she left willingly. They SHOULD still do it though because she's a juvenile and you have legal custody of her. FB2 |

They are in the NCIC system, I just hope they get pulled over for something. He's been careful driving since he was placed on probation and Randie's record is clean. She turns 18 in January after which, there's nothing I can do, but until then I will be relentless in my search. |

He's 20, she's 17. I believe that means she was legally kidnapped or abducted, whatever you want to call it. When you find him, bring him to me and I'll take care of the rest. You can keep your clean conscience. |

My thoughts are with you Ras. I have a 14 year old daughter and I don't know what I would do in your situation. It seems that you've taken all the legal steps possible. I hope that she comes to her senses and goes back home. |

Rasmonis, Prayers for Randie's safe return. I agree with Spreadem - she's still a juvenile and I'd push for an Amber alert. |

Summary of Department of Justice Recommended Criteria (Amber Alert) 1. There is reasonable belief by law enforcement that an abduction has occurred. 2. The law enforcement agency believes that the child is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death. 3. There is enough descriptive information about the victim and the abduction for law enforcement to issue an AMBER Alert to assist in the recovery of the child. 4. The abduction is of a child aged 17 years or younger. 5. The Child’s name and other critical data elements, including the Child Abduction flag, have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) system. I think your biggest setback in getting an Amber Alert issued is going to be the circumstances in which she left. If she left willingly they usually won't do it. |

The fact that he's on probation for aggravated assault and that there's reason to believe he has transported a minor child across state lines should be good enough. Smithers, release the hounds! |

Ras, I live and work in the DC/Balt corridor and also travel to southeast PA. I will keep an eagle eye out and contact the police if I spot them. I'll note the info you gave above and keep it with me. GOD bless and I pray that she comes home safe. Dave M. |

I'm sorry to hear this Ramon... I'm also sorry I live on the other side of the country. I will pray as well... I can get a hold of a guy that used to be "very high" in the political system of New York City and I know a guy who works for interpol. If either can help (if they jump a border or maybe with pulling the strings of prosecution) lemme know. Neither of them are "best friends" but one of them owns a Buell . |

Thanks every one for your prayers and support. When we find them I'll have a party and you're all invited. This is an example of what can happen when parents recognize the warning signs of an abusive partner a little too late. He is desperate, she is naive and had lived a relatively sheltered life until she met him. If Rob acts on his knowledge of how we do things, he knows we called the cops first thing we noticed, he prepared for that. That gave them a 8 hr lead on us. They are either hiding nearby or they are far away. They will wait, then come out when they need money (Rob hasn't had a job for a month or so) and think things are safe. I figure they had no more than $500. His father is a crackhead and of little help. Rob apparently left him out of the loop knowing we would pressure him for information. I believe they will eventually contact him. The cops told me yesterday to leave him alone (Rob's father). Eyes everywhere is what we need. |
