1) Was the black XB at the Fremont Kaiser this evening a Badwebber? Mine was the blue Ss. Two Buells out of 4 bikes in the MC parking. What are the odds? 2) Noticed a tire rub mark about mid-center of the front of the chin fairing. Only things I can think caused it was either the small stoppie (rear off a couple of inches before I eased up a bit) I did avoiding a moron in a car, or it somehow happened when I got new tires installed. Do the front forks flex that much ? It really looks like it was a moving tire that touched so I don't think it was the tire installation. |

Chances are the scuff mark is from the front wheel chock on the stand where your bike was serviced. Bet you a dollar it matches right up. by the way, it's spelled "du jour" but who's checking? (Message edited by pwnzor on August 28, 2006) |

heheh I learned some French in 5th grade, but that's one of the things I remembered, along with h'ors douvres. I discovered the wheel chock thing when I was loading my bike onto my trailer which has a similar chock to what some shops have. As you roll into it, it locks upward behind the wheel. When I discovered it, the scratch was already there but I notched the wheel chock with a die grinder and took care of it so the next bike wouldn't get the scratch. |

They did say that is what they used so it makes sense. And makes me feel way better. |

If that's the only scratch you ever get, you're a luckier man than I am! |
