Try and post some sort of Saturday itinerary. Blown lower disk in back last night at work but will still make the rides. Sunday at 8 AM at perkins is a done deal but was wondering about tomorrow as well. |

Met Ducxl, Damnut, and FireboltericMA at about 2230 hours. NinjaSue and I spent a few hours in the parking lot waiting for our Eastern guests. She napped and I got real good at the bowling game on my cell phone. They had a long, wet, tumultuous ride from New England to our neck of the forest. They checked in, libations were purchased, backup libations were purchased, and we proceeded to a watering hole in Cold Spring replete with hipsters, itinerant (lost or misplaced?) Manhattanites, dirty martinis, buffalo-style chicken bits, and watery eyes. The New Engrish crew will be terrorizing the local terrain tomorrow. Ducxl has a rudimentary knowledge of our environs and will no doubt lead his pack on a righteous path in the morning. My prose no doubt reflects the effects of the aforementioned dirty martinis, but alas I will not be able to join them on their exploits on the morrow. All will be revealed, however, on Sunday morning when the Buellisti gather at Perkin's summit. |

Have no idea how to get to Bear Mtn. As long as doon is going I'll be there. I think he is the only person i know on here that lives anywhere close to me that might be going. |

Watched the weather channel they are calling for a 1/2" of rain in the morning and about an 1" after 12 noon up here. I think i will pass since i do not have rain gear. |

AS long as it isn't raining too hard I will be coming down in the morning. But based on the fact I am thinking about going means it will rain..Sorry guys. It must be my fault. I think every time I have brought the the lightning to bear mountain it has rained. Paw I sent you an email, if you are going to pass I will probably leave earlier since it is supposed to start to rain around here at 6:30/7:00am so if I leave at 5, might be able to sneak past it (Wishful thinking). Hopefully see you guys tomorrow. -Patrick |

wow, i can't believe there are some Buell guys in my area. although i don't have a Buell just yet i am looking into buying one ASAP. i was at Harley of Danbury the other day, anyone have any experience with them? George |

hd of danbury is one of the good dealers. there are some very pro-buell people there. i have had a fair bit of experience with them and have always been treated well. you can ask for jeff and tell him you got his name from badweb. the parts guy rides an xb, the buell tech rides/races an xb, jeff has a tuber, and they have a retired pro racer who also rides an xb9r. good group. |

glad to hear i'm on the right track by going to HD of Danbury. the salesman i spoke with was JC. he seemed nice enough and i meet the service manager (i forget his name) who was very helpful. i am looking at a Buell Blast and they had a new '07 as well as an '06 there. i think i am going to spend some time trying to find a good clean, low mileage used blast. if i can't find what i'm looking for at a good price then i think i'll go back to Danbury and pick up one of the new bikes they have. |

"I will be riding up with LoneXB in the morning. See you there" I seriously doubt that unless you're on a jet-ski |

Was great to meet you guys, and glad you made it home. It rained (rather heavily) for 130 out of 140 miles for my ride home from Bear Mountain. At least the ride down was nice and meeting some more of the great people from this board was worth the soaking I got |

One of these when we have dry roads we'll have to do this again. Once again Buellers have proved themselves to be of the highest caliber. Nice to meet you guys, and those I've met before nice to ride with you again. |

One of these when we have dry roads we'll have to do this again (minus the wall scrape). Was good meeting you guys and glad to hear all made it home in one piece. Dry roads would have made for a more interesting ride but it seems all of our adventures have some sort of mishap, just glad it was the bike that got hurt. |

alright I'm having a bitch of a time trying to resize all of the pictures that I took. So for now I'll just leave you with a little humor. As Johnnylunchbox mentioned we went out to enjoy some frosty beverages on Friday night and someone in our little party really enjoyed the Martinis. Here what one looks like on the top of Bear Mt after a "few" drinks from the night before......... Enjoy
