Looks like my X1 started to leak a bit again. It seems like it leaks after about every 12,000 to 15,000 miles. I was wondering if XB engines are more oil-tight than the older XL engines. It looks like a horrid pain to get at the top end on the XB bikes to me is why I ask. |

Nate, Where is the leak? Are you talking about seepage at the cylinder to case area? |

Only leak I've got is at the clutch cable. Always dirty. My old sporty was the same way. |

33k on a 04 12R and no leaks, well a little seepage from the shift shaft seal that I am too lazy to replace. |

If I drink a lot of coffee, I have to stop frequently to take a leak. |

new 0612r bolt, has had small oil leak somewhere on front of engine since ive brought it home. Not bad enough to even show a loss on the dipstick, just enough to make a mess of the chin spoiler after a ride. Hopefully they will fix it under warranty. Only has 900 miles, when I get 1000 mile service done ill ask em about it. |
