Yeah. I went 18 work days straight on the XB; two days in the truck (had to haul some stuff) and now have another streak going on the bike. It's like a personal competition to see how many days straight I can take the bike to work. I bet I haven't put 3000 miles on my truck this year. Ride on. Bill |

I had to spend all day yesterday driving a car around, actually felt car sick at the end of the night ... that was weird ! 3500 miles on one bike, 500 on another this season so far ... Which is weird in itself because I am an old euro car nut (4 out of 5 cars here not getting much driving time !) |

My car power steering pump let go just as I got my bike at the end of May. I disconnected the battery and have only ridden the Ss since I got it. 100 mile daily round trip commutes, a few fun local jaunts, and two trips (three next week) to SoCal. Over 8500 miles now. I'm getting the car fixed soon for winter but will continue to ride the Buell as much as possible. |

I think I'm going on about 1000 days straight on an XB12R. Granted... I had to replace the stator a while back and a friend of mine picked me up and gave me a ride to work two days... I don't count that though... The XB was out of commission and I couldn't ride it. |

Spidie. only 2 months? I've got the same tank of gas in my truck since early January. Approximate 180 miles. A bunch of that was for hauling roofing supplies from Home Depot, and picking up the scaffold for doing the roof. I've also only driven a car/truck to work 4 times this year As long as the roads are plowed, and clear, I ride. Some time in December of last year, I decided it was time to stop riding for a couple of weeks, when I literally ended up following the salt truck most of the way to work. When I got up that morning, It was cold, yes, but my walk out to get the bike wasn't slippery or anything. Neither was my street. But about 1 block up HWY18, the street was covered in frost. It go worse, the closer I got to work. *THAT* sucked. Monday, I need to haul some stuff for work. So I need to drive the truck to work for the 1st time since March. Btw, Scorpion Syncs ROCK for crappy weather. Also, for those of you with PM wheels. Don't follow salt trucks. Trust me on this |
