We wonder how people can say of motorcycles, "I just didn't see him".

Check out the link to a University study below (it takes a while to download).

The video is of two teams of people passing basketballs to each other.

Try to count the total cumulative number of passes made by both teams.
Then see the discussion on the second link.

Here is a vision check:

Vision Check


First: Watch the moving pink dot go around in the circular pattern.

Then: Look at the crosshairs in the center. What color is the moving dot now?

Finally: After looking at the crosshairs long enough the remaining pink dots disappear. Where'd they go?

Your mind gets used to the shape,(I could go on, but it would take more explaining than I know) try moving an object like a pen or pencil into your field of view after they dissapear, but don't move your eyes, cool 1313!
