My Dad (Jerry Haughton/Ferris) and Jim Attebery will be riding into Columbia Labor Day weekend and resting up before BRATPAC 2 up in the Blue Ridge area. Sep. 2nd (SAT) we're planning on having dinner at Liberty Tap and Grill (828 Gervais St) around 6 or 7 pm. Real nice place with plenty of atmosphere and a ton of brews on tap. Anyone who'd like to come down and share some stories/food/cold beer is more than welcome and it would be a great chance to meet some Badwebbers. If you'd like to ride on down just give me a heads up so I can update the reservation...hope to see a few of all there! (Message edited by spreadem on August 23, 2006) |

I have lots of family right there in the Columbia and Sumter area. If I cannot make it, I'll be sure they are aware. My Dad rides an S2 and Blast while my brother rides an R100 BMW or a '68 Triumph. DAve |

I'm going to set the reservation at Liberty Tap and Grill for 6pm on Saturday Sep. 2nd. That way there are no guessing games. If anyone has any questions on location/logistics feel free to give me a call at (760) 223-2313.... Oldog- I can get you lodging through the military travel office for about $55-$60, that will get you into a typical Days/Holiday Inn type affair. Pretty cheap considering some of the prices I've seen elsewhere in the city. So do I got you down for a yes? Dave- The more the better, it'll be cool to meet some Badwebbers/Buellers in the area and also my Dad doesn't get out this way often so I know he'll enjoy the fresh faces as well. As soon as you know if you/your family can make it, just let me know so I can update the reservation...hope you can make it! FB2 (Message edited by spreadem on August 24, 2006) |

U4euh, It's definitely Columbia, SC. Hmm, I just checked, and it's about 200 miles from Road Atlanta to downtown Columbia. If I can just figure out how to see the FX race AND make it to dinner, it'd be the ultimate Buell day. For that matter, maybe we can get Henry Duga, Jeremy McWilliams, Erik (?) and a few others to come over! (Message edited by whodom on August 24, 2006) |

U4 what is your intended route? I would pick up I95 in Lumberton if your going, that way would you like to meet where 74 crosses 95? if so when its about 90 miles from my house to the BP on the west side of 95 when would you want to meet. |

You riding down U4? If so, looking forward to it! Also: FB and Jim Attebery will be riding from Columbia SC to Franklin NC on Monday 09/04, early morning timeframe. Franklin is the meet for the beginning of BRATPAC. Just for info if anyone feels like staying in Columbia until Monday and hitting the twisties. |

Bryan, If you go for the ride, I highly recommend Highway 28 from Walhalla, SC (NW corner of the state) to Franklin, NC, which is a NICE stretch of road. Fairly new pavement in SC, old pavement for the short stretch through GA, and brand new pavement in NC as far as Highlands. It's a fun ride. |

I was thinking of taking 15 south to 20 west. 95 might be faster though, I'll look at the routes again. Lumberton is only about 45 minutes south of my house. |
