This was sent to me and I'm sure that some of you have probably seen it, but I wanted to share anyway. In honor of my fallen comrades. Farewell Marine Semper Fi

All i have to say is screw Bush. We were in there for weppons of mass destruction when none were found Bush's cabinet found a way to make him look good and say we have to get Saddam out of power the table turned from W.O.M.D to free Iraq. I hold Bush accountable for their death. God bless all the fallen service men, women and their families. And God be with all who are still fighting Bush's major mistake. |

Paw, you dishonor our Military men and women. You should be ashamed of yourself. Southern Marine, I apologise for Paw on behalf of everyone here. Thank you for posting that lovely tribute, I actually sat here and cried watching it. I very recently lost a good friend in Iraq and that tribute hit me right in the heart. Semper Fi, God bless the Corps and all our Armed Forces serving at home and abroad.

You know, everytime I come across one of these post/threads, it generally, increases my sense of pride. I see the emails, and what not, BUT, these posts from people, some who I know via the phone, just the web, and some I have ridden with, and I KNOW there is a certain respect that they give me and my brothers and sister in arms... THAT is what matters. To hell with the politics, and all that. KNOWING that there are people out there, and respect, and appreciate us, makes all the sacrifices worthwhile. Thank you all, for, again, even an unexpected, thank you, can go a long way to making alot of us smile, especially on a tough day. Even though, me, and most I know, will simply say< "Just doing my job"...or something to that effect... Thanks Chase |

To those of you who do call it Bushs' mistake, I'm not here to enter an argument, only that you ask a Marine who's been there... Thanks for that Southern. I had the poem, but had not seen this. Hope all is well with you brother. Fair winds and following seas Semper Fidelis Warriors! |
