She does spoil me! Almost as much as she spoils the dogs. |

He's got the one blue eye, neat. Good story. Be sure to send a pic of him to the shelter, shelter folks love a happy ending.

Tonight, I'll put together a little website with the images and some quotes from the thread, I'll post the link here tomorrow. What a great story, and indeed a life experience. |

Way to cool guys. That is one fine looking dog. Extra points for everyone involved. Rescued dogs are often the most loyal and grateful dogs. Looks like you scored an exceptional new addition. |

I know if I worked at that shelter in NM I'd be interested in reading this whole thread. Anyone send them the link? Or print and mail even... |

Hey Matt, that'd be great. And for posterity's sake, could I get you to email a copy of the site so I can also host it on BadWeB? Would be great if it were organized in a form that I could simply upload and it would work as is. Zat make sense? |

I have 497 unused subdomains at zero3nine so I was just going to host it and leave it up for all to see. I suppose I can email you a copy as well or if you want to just redirect the traffic to me, it's no problem. There won't be any ads or messages there other than content from the thread. I can support the bandwidth no problem. |

when I die, I'm coming back as a dog in Dave and Kandie's house -- I'm really pleased to see the board step up and put some energy into a positive direction -- very cool to see |

Heck you don't have to wait for that. You're welcome at our house any time. I knew a dog named Bomber once. |

Watta deal! No sooner moves in and gets a day at the spa! Sure beat that new age stuff in New Mexico. What do you think, Taos? Pretty good deal or what? |

Matt, Am thinking that ten years from now should your domains disappear, it'd be nice to still have the content online here too. |

Ok it's time for anyone who has any pictures of this adventure that haven't already been posted to do so. I'm working on a website to immortalize this great event and I'm nearing completion. I have some blank spaces which need filling. Kimberly if you have a picture of you with Taos it would be great. Post or email it to me please. Tim and Matt, any pics you have of the ride and particularly at Pike's peak with Taos it would be awesome. Please include an image which shows both your faces so that everyone can see what beautiful people you are. Lee, your pictures are good, but I don't have one of you. Please post or email me one so you can become world famous. More so. It's taking shape nicely, I hope to have something presentable early in the day. |

Sorry no pixs. I didn't think to bring a camera with me the day I picked Taos up at the shelter. My bad. He was quite excited about getting out of there. It took him about an hour to settle down, once we hit the road. |

It's ok Kimberly because I at least have your photo from your profile. Now I just need something to show Tim, Matt and Lee and I can finish it up. |

Thanks Lee, I figured out after I posted that it was you in the picture with Kandie and Taos at the truck stop. I thought it was Dave at first but realized my mistake. I just need pics of Tim and Matt with Taos if possible. Wanna see what I have done so far? Click HERE. It's almost done, I just need those images and I can finish up. |

Looks great! One minor technicality would be that the KC exchange actually took place in Olathe, KS (153 miles to Decatur City). We all simply refer to KC because nobody outside of the metro here knows of Olathe. Oh, some Badwebbers pitched in for gas. That deserves mention as well. One last thing; I have some cool riding shots of Dave and Penny as they passed through KC on their way to Taos. Might be cool to add to the front to illustrate their fateful trip. Yeah it's open for change, certainly. I figured it would evolve a bit over the next few days anyhow. If you could compile a list of donations that were made or pledged and any other images you deem appropriate, post em up here or email them to me and I'll put them in. BTW did the website line up down the middle of your screen with an even black border down both sides? I sometimes forget that not everyone has 3840x1024 resolution so I have to make everything smaller. I loaded it up on the wife's computer and it was sort of all over the place. I'm thinking it was because of the font, so I'm going to republish all the text as images to correct it. I'll redo the map to show the connection in Olathe, KS. Maybe other people haven't heard of it but I used to deliver parts out to Boeing in Wichita, been around that block a bit. |

it is centered and loaded quickly on my screen. if the font was slightly less blocky, it might be easier to read. thanks for the good work! D |

Saw a survey this week that had Olathe, KS in the TOP 10 as best places to live in the country. My new location is a respectable 66th here in Broken Arrow, OK. I downgraded with my move!! |
