Aren't Buells 3% of all Harley Davidson sales ? So a Bueller would be a 3%er...right ? If you wore Harley leather panties you would be a 10%er..........and so on. | ||

It's also the moniker adopted by the BRAG group that rides out of Stone Mountain HD, in Georgia. Top notch group, btw. I get a chance to ride with them during Stone Mountain's annual March Badness demo ride in North Georgia. It's a lot more than a demo ride and it's an event not to be missed. | ||

Back in the day, Hells Angels and other outlaw bikers called themselves 1%ers. The one percent of the population that had decided to live an outlaw life, or were unable to do otherwise. | ||

Back in the day, Hells Angels and other outlaw bikers called themselves 1%ers. I believe this was because, due to all the hoopla regarding "outlaw" biker gangs (brought to public attention by creative media hype), an official with the AMA released a statement that "99% of motorcyclists are decent, law-abiding citizens," in an attempt to improve the public image of motorcyclists.
