Well it is that time of the year again and on the 18th I will be taking off for 10 days of riding. Since I will be making this trip alone, I have one major worry, is there any Buell support from dealers in CO? I will be mainly just riding all over Colorado, going to see the parents for a few days, and then just exploring the great state and all the parks. Quick question, are any of the Buell dealers Buell friendly in that state. I did a quick check on Buell's website and about 10 dealerships came up, some that are Buell only? If I have any mechanical problems will I be stuck or will I have a good support group as in will I have any dealer support. Thanks for any help with this. Oh yes I will be printing off the rider support list from this website, hopefully it has been updated recently and hopefully I will not need dealer support or the list. |

I think I hear the crickets chirping. So I guess there are no Buellers familiar with the state of Colorado or any of the Dealers there? Oh well, I have Daves cell number. |

So I guess there are no Buellers familiar with the state of Colorado or any of the Dealers there? A thread title like "Colorado Road Trip Advise?" might garner the response you're looking for better than "Yearly Road Trip". Sun Harley and RMHD are the only Buell dealers in the state I have first hand experience with, and I've had mixed results with both. IMHO you would be lucky to find either of the dealers with so much as a set of front brake pads in stock for your bike. The RAN print out will be handy if you need help! Have a safe trip! |

Ya you are right I probably should have given it a different heading. Owell I am heading to Colorado Springs this weekend so I'll check out the local Buell shops while I am there. |

Colorado is certainly Buell friendly. Check out Rocky Mountain HD/Buell in Denver. Also, check out the Colorado thread in the Storm Fronts. Give a holler there and someone should speak up. I do a lot of riding in Colorado and am very fond of the central corridor and the western edge of the state. by all means you should check out hwy 149 from Blue mesa lake, just west of Gunnison, down to Pagosa Springs, Truly a wonderful road. If you have time, you can overnight in Lake City at the Alpine Moose lodge, they have the most excellent restaurant. |
