Where the hell you guys been? The Honda Silverwing and Suzuki Burgman have been around a while, just that no self respecting scoot jockey is going to ride one, but now with gas going through the roof, it gives the cagers who can't shift an alternative. I say make more of them! My kids would like some. |

Apparently someone at the Honda skunkworks left the Interceptor pen open one night, and all the VFR's got out and fornicated with the Silverwings, thus blessing us with this b**tard spawn of a vehicle. |

either of those scooter-thingies would be ACES if I lived in a city -- I could park the four-wheeler for 9/10 months outa the year (except lumber yard runs)
there are a huge number of "motorcyclists" with thousands of miles under their belts that can't control their machine worth a darn -- most of the scooter-pilots I see do very well, and make better time through urban traffic than full sized bike do
hey, if it gets more folks up on two wheels, I'm all for it

OK everybody.....Repeat after Me......ALL BIKES ARE GOOD.....ALL BIKES ARE GOOD.....ALL BIKES ARE GOOD.....this Mantra should be recognizable to all of us. Not so long ago many people looked at a Buell and said.."God that thing is Fugly"..and now they buy'em,ride 'em and LOVE them.It's the uniqueness(dare I say "Different in EVERY way")that draws us free-thinkers to our favorite brand. This is going to bring MORE people into the fold which gives ALL Motorcyclists more power to help direct the common man towards the sport we love. |

Ebear hit it on the head. It is indeed better to have people riding than driving. It is a step in the right direction.
BTW I stabbed both of my eyes out to avoid ever having to see any machine as ugly as that Victory scooter again. |

As far as scooters go, I think this is much more unique:
Leans up to 40 deg, but when parking, it stands vertical without need for a centerstand! Now if they could only beef up that wheezer motor... |
