...that it's impossible to drive Buell xb12s faster than 95 miles per hour. This is my 13th bike and I have never drived so hard bike to handle. I don't have owners manual so it's pretty hard to start quessing what to do? Sorry my english is not perfect. |

If your bike has the stock Dunlop tires, get rid of them now. (Evil handling tires). Get some Pirellis on it. The Pirelli Scorpion Syncs turned my bike handling from one of the hardest bikes I have ever ridden to a joy to ride. |

It feels like the front is going up from the road. It's unstable and shaking. Really hard to handle. |

Everything on your suspension is adjustable. If you let us know what you weigh, I'm sure someone with the same bike will check their manual and give you the proper settings. Meanwhile you should send for a manual. Maybe your tires are not balanced or your steering head bearings are not tightened correctly. The advice I gave you about the tires, I believe is still the best change you can make to your bike, after you do the above. (Message edited by old man on August 07, 2006) |

Also..with the S, you have every ounce of wind at your front..it will shake you pretty bad, play around with the suspension and DEFINITELY do the tire change if you're on dunlops... but I bet the feeling of the wind is what makes it feel so shaky... Are you going to the track for that 95mph??? young man??? this is your mother talking.. lol (Message edited by angelwild327 on August 07, 2006) |

I have Bridgestones but I think too that it can be the problem of tire balance. I weight 165 pounds (75kg). Can somebody tell me how much from maximum I should set suspension to minus. |

Got to have it dialed in right for your weight "Full Gear & Helmet" and luggage.. I just readjusted my suspension for my weight and my tank bag. Pay attention to your weight if your like me and can go up and down 20LBS in couple months it can throw things out of whack fast... I've had my City up to 105 the second day I had it.. I driving it home from Texas... This is what I don't understand? I buy a TV, I buy a computer, I buy a fridge.. I can go online and look at the owners manuel yet Cars and motorcycles don't have that. Its not like they make a fortune on selling owners manuels.. |
