Hi Ted...was thinking about you the other day. FYI... Glen [Striking Viking] did an extensive real time ride report of his most recent round-the world-adventure on www.advrider.com . It can be found in the Ride Reports Section and is titled Striking Viking Bumming The World. A search with that title should get you there pretty easily if you are interested...allot of interesting photos....pretty girls too. |

Hey all, I'm hanging in there! I miss riding!!! I just got settled into my new place here in Asheville. Going back for more classes in school, I like those college women! Yeah, that is a great book! He is finishing his second book soon. Just having trouble getting a publisher. Did I mention I miss riding! Ya'll ride safe! |

Ted - good to hear from you again. Glad to hear you've got things in the work. And spending a bit of time in college can't be a bad thing from what I can see Please keep in touch - check in once in awhile and let's know what you're up to. Henrik |

Just returned from vacation much of which was spent recreating along the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was spectacular, even in the Ford. |

RT, "Did you take the sofa and the shag carpet this time? " No, but we stopped by for a visit with them. Ted, This one, via Ford, was a long overdue quality vacation for the wife and me so we pretty much kept to ourselves. Next time we'll plan on doing some visiting (read mooching/imposing upon ) with friends along the way. The pics from RT's link above are from a trip down the BRP from back in 2001. Will do that again some time for sure and will stop by for a visit too. The Dragon made me dizzy. Going to and from camp via Balsam Mountain road is tough to beat too. And for any Uly or CityX owners out there, you really gotta try the one way dirt track from Balsam Mountain that heads down towards Cherokee. Amazing! Even in the Exploder. It would be wonderful on a motorcycle. Might be a good idea to bring pepper spray in case of bears. |
