First of all I would like to request that you terminate your website. I find the little games way to addictive! especially the one with the little  men in it.
Just joking, but there was one post that it was a little distracting. On the other hand I find your animation very amusing and got my self staring at the car one for a couple minutes.
So anyways this post is just a ramble about nothing!

Hard Corps, thanks for visiting my site. It's a work in progress to be sure.
I'm working on putting an authentic version of Asteroids up there because its just about my all time favorite game. I'm having trouble with the java applet so it may be a while. Hopefully I can find a Flash version. I should soon have the Super Mario Brothers series of games on the site. Also looking at all the Donkey Kong themed games.
I have installed PHPBB and PHPNuke, playing with the idea of starting a multilateral forum for outcast gamers. Perhaps outlaw motorcyclists as well. We'll see how it goes.

That would've been the one where you used "American Sign Language"(ASL) to "sign" the word "pwnzor".I thought it was pretty cool. For the deaf and hard of hearing ASL is a way communicate.
We're very lucky to be able to hear here. |

She was joking Ducxl. She complimented me in another thread on the sign language one.
My hearing is going a little every day, doctors say I will be completely deaf one day. Thats what they said like 15 years ago so the whole family learned sign language. I can still hear pretty well and my sign language is rusty. But the docs were right. It's on its way out so I try to practice at my kids' school functions because they always have a translator for the impaired. It's fun watching a skilled signer at work. A beautiful form of expression in my opinion.

Speaking of asteroids, why do they call Asteroids: Asteroids, and they call Hemorhoids: Hemorhoids, shouldn't it be the other way around. Of course they would call a doctor of the rectum, an Astrologist, and well, we know what they would call somebody who studies the Stars. |

Yes, ASL is beautiful...I lived in Rochester, NY and was on a local BBS, without knowing that the majority of the members were deaf, UNTIL the night I met them all out for weekly coffee...man, I certainly wasn't prepared for the decibel level they were capable of while signing to one another..
It's a unique culture, Rochester actually has one of the largest deaf populations in the US, possibly the world, because of the curriculum at RIT...got pulled over one night talking to a deaf friend with the interior lights on..lol...
ANYHOW..ramble over and out..or whatever your gang sign is..CEREBRALS! |

Do blinking traffic lights make it too distracting to read signs or see other vehicles? I'm just curious about that, it's something that came to me as I drove to the store watching people multitask. I watched one of my neighbors blow through a red light earlier while she was on the phone and smoking a cigarette with opposite hands.

Speaking of Sign Language. I have a friend at work who's Dad is a pastor or some or other. He was trying to learn a few signs to do for a deaf lady at the Church, when he saw her, I think it was the sign for Good Morning, good to have you here. I think the signs kind of look like how you would pump your arm at someone to "flip" them off, then he did the 'ol Chin sweep to tell somebody off. Needless to say, she was kind of shocked at his lack of friendliness. |
