Looking at the 2006 999s, the MSRP is $23995. the 2007 999s team USA is $19995. Even though, I can not afford either, that is quite a price drop, especially for a limited edition model. Ducati are preparing (clearing out stock) for the forthcoming 999 replacement. It's rumoured two new models, 1100 and 1200cc versions could be produced. Rocket |

It's possible that the team USA 999S doesn't come with the race exhaust and ecm, which costs 3 or 4 grand. If that is not the case, WOOHOO. I did a demo ride on a standard 999 and that thing was sweet. I would love to get one but I'd be scared of crashing it on a track. It is a waste to get a bike like that and not at least do track days. |
