once upon a time there was this dyna something guy who was on this board and all he did was bitch about buells, think he finally bought an R1 or something. anyway this is a buell "enthusiast" forum which means we come here because of our affection for these scoots not to rag on them, most people here other than the trolls don't want to hear negative comments about buells, i for sure don't. maybe suggestions about improving the breed but not outright ragging | ||

Dyna was OK by me, really. He just didn't seem so mean-spirited, nasty and a braggart all rolled up in one as is this one. "Personal attacks on customers are not going to sell more Buells." I'd say we are all UNITED on one point, BUELLGGGRL included, we sure do wish BUELL would have sold ONE LESS bike back in 2002 or 2003... | ||

I think it is time for me to inter here. History of my X1. when bike was new had problem with computer dealer sent one air mail over night o2 sensor went out dealer puled one from bike in stock was on my way in 1 hr. had to rebuild forks Dave had my parts here in less than 1 week. broke clutch cable and Dave had it here in 3 days. That sure sez a lot for my Buell that has 40000 + miles on it and for the good suport from factory. I Lived 30 yrs. over seas and once waited 6 weeks for kit to rebuild Yahama carb. I think some people are just spoiled. | ||

For the record I don't mind hearing negative comments about Buells as long as they are either based on fact or stated with an interest in gathering information to help oneself fix a problem. Buellgrrrl... I'm like Ramone... I do feel some sympathy for you for sure. I'd LOVE to help. If you lived in AZ I'd invite you to my house and I'd do what I could to help with the problems. You'd have to work around me and my GF's schedule but I'd lend a hand for sure. It's a fact that motorcycles break. Some more than others and some more than others within a certain model. Even when you have a reliable motorcycle it's perfectly possible to have a number of things go wrong in succession. That's the way life works too dear. My GF just had three deaths in her family over the course of two weeks. Each of them completely and utterly un-related. You either move on or you get dragged down. I'm sorry you got dragged down this time but quite frankly... knock it off. You have to understand that not every M2 has given its owner as much trouble as yours has given you so why do you feel it's perfectly acceptable to throw rocks at EVERYTHING that has ANYTHING to do with BMC or HDI? It's un-becoming and quite frankly I think that you are RIGHT on the edge of being outcast from this community. I'd rather see you get help with your Buell. That's the honest truth. If you don't want that though... Keep moaning. Whatever  . It's a hunk of metal. It can be fixed. When was the last time you calibrated your torque wrench? | ||

I just think that you have a lot of time left on this here planet so why waste it bitching about a bike that just doesn't do it for you? Key word being "you"... Like I said... Dyna had a legitimate reason to bitch. He got royally screwed by both his dealer and the factory. And, for those out there who never met him, he goes way out of his way to help Buellers. He spent most of Daytona Bike Week helping out Buell racers. He may be contentious and contrary, but he's there when he's needed. He doesn't talk the talk, but he walks the walk. Judge him by his actions, you'll find a true enthusiast. | ||

Seems to me she seems to think that this is a Buell sales website... Buellgrrrl somewhere you have gotten things confused, be nice to these people and they will help you do anything in their power. But make the angry and I am sure that they can make it even harder for you. These are Buell owners and riders not dealers and manufacturers. Seems you are taking your frustrations out on the wrong people. You might want to rethink your strategies on this site and try being nice, bet you will have a lot more help from these guys and gals. | ||

All jokes aside, Buellgrrrl, what do you intend on doing with your M2? Perceived quality issues aside, did you have fun with this bike? Is it worth more to you then on the market? These bikes are increadibly easy to work on. If you have any sort of mechanical ability, or if you have the desire to learn, you could pretty much do all of the necessary work yourself with a basic set of mechanics tools. This may be a great oppertunity to explore another aspect of this hobby. The choice is yours. | ||

I already tried pursuing that line Eboos. She doesn't want to fix it because she has a waranty and doesn't want to "let HDI off the hook" or words to that effect. She does not want help she wants to complain long and loud because she feels she has a license to bitch now. I just don't know why she has to bitch at US. We are not BMC or HDI. We are Badweb. | ||

First of all, it sounds like Buellgrrrl has some problems that should be diagnosed by a licensed mental health professional. Delusional fantasies about how Badweb is owned by HDI and BMC are getting her into the 'it's a conspiracy against me' mode. Besides Buellgrrrl... You boys??? and who says you're the only girl posting on the forum? It's not just you being ganged up on by the big bad mean boys. There are quite a few ladies on here who are sick of hearing it too. Angel, Buellgirlie, myself, etc etc... We're all honest to goodness tired of listening to it. I can understand being bitchy, I can understand PMS... H*ll, I had PMS today too. Bitched out a lot of different people (No rice can testify to this in a major sort of way, and he didn't even make me upset) and there's still people on my bitchlist that I didn't get to today, so they'll get their turn tomorrow. The point is madamoiselle, you're in this perma-bitch mode and we don't know how to help you out of this. My advice is to seek professional medical help, they might be able to give you some peace of mind... or some really good medication to help you believe that the world really isn't out to destroy Buellgrrrl. | ||

Don't waste your precious energy...after some research, yes..I'm a dork, I realize that she often "posts to stir" or button push (whether she realizes it or not, but I'm guessing she does, since it seems a game to her, when she says "you can't make an old woman go away that easily" etc)..these type of posts make up a large majority of her past posts...whatever the reasons, I assume it's lack of attention or boredom, or misery loves company stuff...I, personally, will never again offer advice or involve myself in any more of her posts, it's just a lesson in futility.
